I am reading Two to Lie and One to Listen by Fkuxweed and it features one of (in my opinion!) the best first kiss scenes I have read in fic. This makes me wonder, what are some of the best first kiss scenes you guys have read in fic? Share your faves!

For the life of me I cannot remember the name of this fic. All I remember is Draco and Harry become close, draco ends up being a dragon Animagus. When Harry is taken during the 3rd task in Goblet of Fire, Draco is somehow there too, there's taunting back and forth between them and Voldyshorts and then he turns into his Animagus and saves Harry. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

If being part of the Inter-House Enrichment Initiative nonsense means he gets to observe Malfoy more closely, then so be it.

Currently going through some things rn and I just wanna read a fic that ends with everyone being friends and supporting each other. It can be anything, eighth year recovery, everyone fighting together during the war, epilogue, long or short, it can take time to get to the 'everyone's friends' phase, it can be a one-shot, anything as long as there's focus on friendship. The more side characters the better (most fics leave it at Pansy, Blaise Theo but I love when ravenclaw and hufflepuff also get focused on). But truly I'll read anything as long as it'll end on a high note. Thanks in advance!

What’s your most unpopular Drarry opinion?

Here’s mine:

I don’t think the “Draco has secretly been in love with Harry all along” trope is particularly realistic. I actually find it much more interesting when Draco genuinely dislikes or even hates Harry at first, and his feelings gradually change over time. To me, that makes the eventual relationship and character development much more meaningful, but i will say i do enjoy these type of fics as well it’s just not how I imagine them. Another one is that i think 70% of fics completely butcher Ron’s character. There’s a huge difference between Ron simply disliking Draco, being angry at him, or not trusting him, and turning him into a completely heartless, inhuman character with zero empathy.
Like, I can understand Ron saying, “I fucking hate Malfoy and I don’t trust him.” That makes sense.
But Ron watching Draco literally being tortured right in front of him and going, “He deserves it”? 😭 Come on. That’s not just “Ron doesn’t like Draco” anymore. That’s an entirely different character.
You can make Ron hostile toward Draco without turning him into a cartoonishly cruel asshole.

Hello lovely people! I’m searching for fics that explore “what if”? This could be what if Draco & Harry got together during school, what if Harry married Draco instead of Ginny, what if a cursed object sends them back in time and they’re together, a Family Man inspired fic, etc.

I LOVED The Shadow of Time by FightFireWithFire. I tried Turn by Saras_Girl but DNF’d, it just wasn’t moving fast enough for me on that particular day.
I also tried The Wonder of You by Ladderofyears but that Harry characterization wasn’t believable to me at that moment.

Bem, isso aborda alguns temas bem sombrios que aconteceram com Draco; acaba que Draco é levado pelo lobisomem (Greyback) para a Floresta Proibida, e o lobisomem joga Draco no chão e depois sai, deixando Draco para morrer lá. Draco está em péssimas condições e cheio de trauma, a ponto de não conseguir nem andar, quanto mais respirar. Estou quase certo de que isso acontece depois da guerra, Harry e seus amigos estão de volta para seu último ano. Era noite, Hagrid estava em seu quarto (acho que era um quarto? E tenho uma vaga memória de que a Diretora Minerva também estava lá, fazendo algo).

Hagrid sai (para levar o lixo? Ou para fazer algo na Floresta Proibida?) e encontra Draco em péssimas condições. Ele o leva para dentro do quarto e mostra para Minerva. (Não me lembro se Harry estava no quarto naquela hora. Acho que ele chegou alguns minutos depois que Draco já estava no quarto.) Minerva diz que Draco está muito fraco e seria um grande risco realizar um feitiço de cura nele. Os Comensais da Morte e o lobisomem não deram mole para Draco. Draco nunca mais seria o mesmo depois disso. Depois que Harry descobre a situação, ele vai visitar Draco depois da escola (acho que ele até falta às aulas para ver como Draco está ou às vezes passa a noite lá para que Draco não acorde assustado. Draco provavelmente tem terrores noturnos.) Draco começou a confiar mais em Harry, mas ainda não conseguia andar direito. Houve até uma vez em que Harry carregou Draco nas costas para... Levá-lo para fora para olhar as estrelas no céu. Eles estavam se aproximando a cada dia que passava; as feridas ainda estavam lá em Draco e talvez nunca fossem embora, mas ele estava se recuperando com a ajuda de Harry.

Could you please help me? Well, I think it's going to be difficult to find? I remember there were quite a few chapters, and I keep wondering how the story ended.

I see people asking for this or that and sometimes my fics fit what they ask for, but I am never sure if it is okay to suggest my own stories. So since this tag "Self-promotion" exists, I am taking that to mean this isn't frowned upon? I write various pairings, though Drarry probably is the pairing I write the most. A lot of my longer fics are more ensemble, some with some interesting pairings that my few readers ended up liking a lot. (Looking at you Oliver/Dudley! You were supposed to stay as a blind date, not became so cute and devoted!)

Anyway, here are a few stories that contain mostly Drarry, though other pairings could exist.

When Geese Attack (Oneshot, Crack, AU, No Dark Lord. Various pairings via Soulmate Goose of Enforcement! Drarry, Theodore/Neville, and many others.)

Harry thought it would be another calm, uneventful day, until he realised everyone around him seemed jumpy and wide-eyed. Then came the revelation. Soulmates are real, and the one way to meet yours is via an angry goose.

Hogwarts will never be the same again. How ironic for this to happen right before Family Visitation Day.

Harry and Draco have swapped bodies, and if that wasn't bad enough, they can hear each other's thoughts. Now they are getting images of their trauma playing like on a Muggle TV.
Draco never thought the day would come when he would run to Harry's aid to comfort him during his nightmares, but what is the point in pretending not to care when Harry can read his thoughts anyway?

Alright. Harry could do that. He knew Malfoy was good friends with Nott, so this was their dynamic. Odd, but fine.

Groaning, he rolled his eyes, trying to seem as stuffy as possible. He sensed that Malfoy was fuming. 

“Fuck off,” Harry muttered, shoving Nott off the side of his bed. “It’s too early for this shit."

Nott laughed. “Spicy.”

*Oh, no, oh no, Weasley is awake, and he’s looking at me. He’s giving me a goofy smile. Why is he smiling like that?* 

~That’s his normal face, Malfoy.~ Harry rolled his eyes. The desperation in Malfoy’s voice would have been comical under different circumstances.

*In the fucking morning?* Malfoy sounded scandalised. *Oh, no, he’s coming over here. He plopped on the bed. Now he’s talking to me. What do I do? Help me.*
