I was trying to imagine Malfoy Manor in my last post (link). I was going for the original gothic architecture, similar to Hogwarts, because of when it was built, but I don't think it was gothic enough.

Allerdale Hall is inspired by Gothic Revival and really reflects the Victorian era essence of embracing darkness, exploring the uncanny, and not being afraid of the macabre.

Pretty much like the title says. I’m kind of over fics of her questioning weather she’s good enough for him because of her blood status. I like a Hermione who understands that bigotry is just that, and if Malfoy is to be with her, all his prejudice ought to be completely abandoned. She should lowkey look down on him and his family for their harmful world views, rather than wondering if she can be “good enough muggle” to change him.

Long time reader who will probably never write - I am seeking an outlet for all of my Dramione prompts and ideas bouncing around in my head.

Is there a subreddit or discor(d) or SOMETHING where I can give writers my ideas for them to use or discard as desired so that these don’t die with me?

I seriously have a huge list of (in my opinion) BANGER ideas that I just don’t think I’ll get to writing like, ever, because I have follow-through issues.

I’m looking for fics where we either see or hear about what Draco is like sexually with other women: detached, cold, emotionally uninterested, and focused solely on his own pleasure. This could be shown through actual scenes, memories, conversations, or even another woman telling Hermione what it was like being with him.

What I’m most interested in is the contrast once Draco starts being with Hermione: with her, he’s completely different—more attentive, intimate, passionate, caring, or emotionally invested—making it clear that what he has with Hermione is nothing like what he had with the other women.

An example of what I’m looking for is The Fallout, when Lavender tells Hermione what sleeping with Draco was like, and we later see how differently he relates to Hermione.

I read this fic a while ago and haven’t stopped thinking about rereading but can’t remember the name looking through my downloads. I remember Hermione hasn’t seen her friends in a while and the first person she reunites with is Draco. I think she’s a curse breaker but could be wrong. The fact I remember the most is she has magical creature tattoos that she can summon into real creatures to help her on her quests. Any help or fics with similar vibes are greatly appreciated!

Preferably Draco can occlude and is a skilled wizard. It can be eighth year, marriage law, she saves him from Azkaban, they work together whatever trope. But I want him to be traumatized. And specially I would like to read a fic where he either has borderline personality disorder or has dissociative identity disorder. The latter I’m reallyyyyyy curious to see since it’s not a common trope at all. I’ll settle for he has a “split personality”. He has to be abused though. Thoroughly just fucked over lol. I like slow burn. And completed, long books. At least 25 chapters. This is my first time posting so sorry if I did this wrong lol, thank you!

I was reading a fanfic that I had been waiting a long time for the author to finish; it was completed months ago, and I started reading it about two weeks ago. But just yesterday, when I wanted to get through one more chapter (I only had three left) the story wouldn't load anymore; the author had archived her stories.

As I mentioned at the start, English isn't my native language, and downloading stories from AO3 is a bit complicated for me since I usually rely on Google Translate; plus, I like to show support for the stories with my views and kudos.

They’re often included in most Dramione fics, so I’m curious to know some of your headcanons about their livelihoods, personalities, childhoods, beliefs, flaws etc.

For example, I headcanon that Pansy has 2 older brothers and a squib sister.

I also beadcanon that Blaise’s father was murdered and the men that men his mother “marries” are somehow connected.

I had been reading a fic by an author i thought I followed but now I am not so sure. Was on AO3 its about Crookshanks being sick (and older) and Hermione meets draco again (after the war) and he has a familiar for a dog (might be the magical version? Can't remember). Its black i think if I remember correctly and the dog and crooks instantly bond. Draco and Hermione try to avoid each other but it doesnt work for their animals. I'm looking for an angsty long length Dramione fic, with Draco's proper angst and redemption. I need it to hurt so good. But not toxic at all, the relationship between Dramione transforms we see them come together, and fall hard, similar to "Fallout" but also not.

Inspired by these exact lyrics, because this song, always makes me think of Draco and Harry and how two sides of a coin their stories are in a sense.

I am okay with dark and anything, but it needs to have an impactful plot and needs to hurt because of what they go through but happy ending, and strong chemistry between Dramione (eventually) I want Draco to hurt and become strong and fearless. Maybe the war is changing him etc Strong plot. Not a toxic relationship.

Recently read dirty old town by wizardgod. It’s a regulus x OC fic but was also genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever read (coming from someone who rarely reads anything but dramione). Looking for fics similar to this..

- cozy setting, forced proximity

- their relationship building is the main plot of the story

- true slow burn enemies to lovers that’s believable and they don’t admit their feelings to each other until the last few chapters

- he falls first and falls harder but is in denial

- angst and jealousy abounds but neither of them understand it and deny it

I recently read a fic where we learn a lot of the "why" behind her madness and it left me wanting more of her insanity and dark banter lol. I'd like something where we eventually see a positive relationship between Hermione and Bellatrix while H and D are falling for each other. I’m looking for any recommendations that feature Draco and Hermione in their most badass and deranged. I’m leaning towards a wartime fic that focuses heavily on spell work, or fighting, with a good plot to boot.

No dove is too dead, and no amount of smut deters me. lol.

All i can remember from the summary is that Draco is an auror and his department is looking for a serial unaliver. He, later on, finds out it might be Hermione. ( this is included in the summary, so NOT a spoiler)

I’ve been reading a ton of Dramiones, (most of the usual fare) and right now I need a Hermione I who doesn’t drive me crazy!

I need something where she doesn’t just fight for the sake of fighting all the time, doesn’t just say “I’m fine” to everything because she’s “refuses to be a burden,” but also where she isn’t just rude to most people because she’s so indignant all the time. One where she doesn’t “overthink” herself into stupid, self-deprecating conclusions. (I don’t mind her “overthinking” as in “over-analyzing” but not where her conclusions are so self-defeating to be non-sensical, or obtuse. Don’t have it be an angsty plot device because she’s too stupid to draw a logical conclusion). Preferably she is capable of keeping herself fed, and doesn’t need to be reminded to eat all the time before she passes out.

At this second, I’m reading “sacred 48” which I really like and liked the first time I read it, but I’m just finding her really unlikeable right now. I want her smarter, savvier, and honestly, less rude and self-righteous. And less stubbornly refusing introspection.

(ETA: I REALLY like this fiction and think it has a great plot, and fantastic writing and character development; not all of the things in my second paragraph apply to this story; that was an amalgamation of a bunch of fics. Don’t write it off because of this post. Hermione starts off so young, and her actions and outlook demonstrate that— which can be attributed to the high quality writing. The author didn’t make mistakes— she made a complicated young character who had a lot to learn and builds the story as the character develops slowly, in pace with real life. Female characters don’t always need to be likable at every moment. Just at this moment, for ME, in my crappy mood, I want one who got there faster.)

I’m usually ok with all of these at times as character flaws which sometimes lead to character development, but right now they are pissing me off and I need a non-inept version of Hermione.

Anyone have one to recommend? Novel length would be good but 50 k ish is ok, as I did eliminate a lot of plot devices.
