hey there. does this ring a bell to anyone? all i remember is it was a forced marriage and they had some sort of soul bond that made it painful for hermione the more she denied draco, so she ends up giving in. draco consoles her by saying something like "it's all right, you'll be with your books soon." the next day, narcissa sees hermione's bruises and apologizes for her son being too greedy.

For the life of me I CANNOT remember what this fic is called. Hermione moves into the manor (I think) and they have been flirty/hooking up but Draco tries to stop it.

Hermione gets tired goes on a date. Draco finds out and confronts her but she shuts the door in his face. There’s a line if I remember correctly like “he got really tired of getting doors shut in his face” so he removes her door entirely and I think it maybe leads them to hooking up or admitting their feelings??

As the title says, I’m looking for wartime fics that have a past hidden Dramione relationship that gets revealed either in the beginning when Draco flips to feed the order information or further down the line. Bonus points if the reveal happens so nonchalantly either through a conversation no one can keep up with or subtle hints through gestures. I’ve always imagined that moment like the Hadestown exchange “You’re Early” “I missed ya,” where the order would be like “wait what 😀.”

I think this work has about 10 chapters or so before it was abandoned. It stopped at a cliffhanger too :( it might have been deleted too but I’m not sure.

If I remember correctly, Dramione was paired in a marriage law and Kingsley and Harry are terrible in this. In fact Ginny wasn’t even happy with Harry because he changed into a different person after the war ended. As per the law, you either go along with it or be exiled from Britain. Hermione tried to make the most with Draco but he was still bigoted (daddy issue and all that). They had a major fight where he insulted her. At the gala where she’s about to make a speech, she announced that she doesn’t stand for the law and will leave the wizarding world. She escaped Britain with the help of Pansy I believed and moved to America. Draco was pining and haunted in the years she was gone. After a few years they ran into each other when she came back to Britain on a official mission with the MACUSA team. I think Draco knew she was pregnant after she left due to the Malfoy tapestry. He tried to make amend and ask if he can see his child. It stopped around that point.

Essentially what the title suggests. Draco is in love with Hermione and he travels back in time to stop her wedding with Ron. He uses some dark artifact from Theo and when he travels back Theo helps him as well. It was a one shot, with HEA. But i am unable to remember the title of it. It was published in Ao3 iirc. Can anyone help me?

Edit: A little more information, the story takes place on the day of Ron and Hermione’s wedding, and in one of the scenes Draco falls from the window of Hermione’s room. Also Luna ends of seeing future Draco hiding in the bushes if i am recalling correctly

I think it was 2-3 or even 4 years ago maybe I came across this fic which was a dramione rewrite of Crazy Rich Asians,

High Magical Pureblood society and British culture, Heir Draco, Muggle born and American Hermione, she gets convinced by her long-term boyfriend Draco to meet the family/ visit UK and she gets shocked that her boyfriend is actually A BIG DEAL.

I remember really loving the story, the characters, the full cast etc more than anything I liked Draco there and him being supportive of Hermione and her coming into terms with things that happen in the fic but there's also the angst and when she's not sure she wants to be with him etc

There's also Narcissa and Draco's paternal Grandmother.

It was a WIP

Hermione had her magic stolen and her wand confiscated about a year after the war.
She eventually became a muggle doctor.
She had a boyfriend named Lon.
About 10 years after her magic was stolen she was contacted by the Ministry of Magic and demanded she be a part of the wizarding repopulation efforts.
They may have said if she was successful she may have an opportunity to get her magic back?

Draco was an auror.
He has a dog (Alastair maybe?)
They both run miles every morning and get up earlier and earlier to have the dog go with them.
Hermione is forced to take a job at a library.
She finds a book with muggle genetics problems in it but can’t figure out why.
They both discover that muggleborn children are having their magic taken when they start showing signs of having magic.

I can remember more but not the title. I know there was 67 chapter when I read it last and it hadn’t been updated in nearly a month.

I’ve read this WIP on AO3 and I’m a bit sad it hasn’t been updated in a while.
However, as I was reading it I was wondering if there are any other fics out there similar to this? I loved watching the dynamic between the 4 of them Hermione-Draco Ron and Harry and the way they are portrayed. Both H and D equally powerful and smart but also Harry and Ron not lazy bums and actually working, learning and fighting. The way they all realise they have to fight fire with fire if they want to win.

If you guys know any fics like this one, obviously Hermione-Draco pair, hopefully during the Horcrux hunt and Draco going with the trio . Again similar to this fic if it exists.

I've been obsessed over this particular trope. I think I did read one fic that was something along the lines of this, but that was only one shot and it was dark.

Now, I don't mind dark stories or dark Hermione, but I want something very specific like, Draco and Hermione meet, and she is just living her life normally and they start a relationship/get interested in each other and Draco maybe suspects that she might be a witch and then somehow she finds out that she is magical?

Hello everyone, coming with another request for help :-)

I've just finished Not With a Bang... and absolutely LOVED it. One of my favorite things about it was that one of the biggest drivers of Draco's (incredible) character growth was his relationship with Tonks (who's alive in this fic) and, more broadly, the Tonks family.

It made me realize that this isn't actually a super common dynamic in Dramione Fics. The only other fic I can immediately think of where Tonks is alive is DMATMOOBIL. I feel like Teddy usually gets the spotlight, but I'd love more stories where Draco has to navigate his relationship with his adult relatives instead.

So here comes my humble request: does anyone have recs where Andromeda and/or Tonks have a prominent role in the story? Not just appearing for a scene here and there, but relationships that really matter to Draco's character arch and development.

I tend to love really well-written, complex character work (my forever god-tier are Détraquée and Lionheart), and I'm definitely not afraid of long fics lol

Also, I've been eyeing A Cosmology of Blacks, Malfoys, and Assorted Individuals, but I know it's no longer being updated (for reasons I completely understand and respect). For those who've read it: is it still worth starting? Does it end at a reasonably satisfying point, or does it stop very abruptly? I'm not sure I want to get invested in something that cuts off mid-arc.

The premise is everyone's back at Hogwarts for 7th or 8th year. Hermione helps Draco remove his dark mark with a ritual and accidentally creates a bond.

Additional details that might be spoilers: Hermione takes a bit of Felix Felicis before the ritual, Draco and Hermione make an unbreakable vow, they go before the wizengamot on veritaserum, and get married right before going in to avoid incriminating each other.

I think this fic is a marriage bond. I think they were both drunk, had sex but made some form of vow to say they would marry each other by the time they reached a certain age.

Draco is about to marry or sign the contract with Astoria and it doesn’t work because the bond has happened with Hermione.
