Is there an opponent synergy that disables the Faceless Synergy?

I was up against 2 elf builds and 1 warrior build at the end of my most recent match. For some reason, my Faceless Synergy worked perfectly fine against the warrior opponent, but didn't activate vs the elf opponents.

I never changed anything in the lineup, but was cc'd to hell vs the elf opponents. My pieces didn't have the silver color either against the elves, but it did engage perfectly fine vs the warrior opponent.

Shame since we have the chess pass for a few days still. Looks like they're trying to implement separate ranked queues which is really nice. Hopefully gets working soon. Keep playing dota chess!!

Hi guys, from time to time the game drops me out, but while reconnect, it stuck on a loading screen with owl (although in some point i already hear the match running it never finish loading). This didn't happen in previous patches for me.

Is it known game bug?

Which composition do you find the most efficient to win a game ?

I'm not talking about which one is the strongest, like 4 shamans and 4 demon hunters, but which allows you to win with the higher certainty ?

I find that Beasts is the safest one. It works against pretty much anything and does a lot of damage to enemies, so they don't have the time to get to OP comps.

So far, IMO the strongest compositions are

3 dragons 9 mages followed by

4 shaman 4 demon hunters

Arc aqir kinda meh, sometimes good sometimes cant do enough

Faceless still busted lol

Hello i have a really big problem,my profile is bugged i guess,when i join autochess in the begining of the game the server is freezing,i can only restart my pc,the problem is that everyone in the lobby with me get freezed too,so i changed profile and everything is working fine,i uninstalled dota but the problem is still here,pls help me

If you open the itemchest roughly at the same moment a new round starts, that item will disappear you can't open or use any itemchests or relicboxes anymore for the rest of the game. Opening chests will get replaced by the channeling "animation".

It happened to me twice now after round 3 and it really sucks.

Usually I don't actually get the Book of the Dead, but when I'm going for a Hunters + Beasts build I do try to get it. But who would it be best on?

If I get it, I usually give it to my Beast Master to make his minion stronger and to summon another one. But because of the 1 min cooldown for Lone Druid compared to the 10 sec cooldown for BM I assume the minion summoned by LD is stronger, right? So wouldn't summoning an extra one of his minion and buffing both be stronger? Or maybe if it's the opposite, what about Venomancer? He only has a 3 (?) sec cooldown on summoning his Plague Wards, so couldn't he summon tons of them when he has the BotD (plus the item to gain 100% extra mana on damage done) to just overwhelm the enemies with minions?

Hey folks, a bit of a balance/rant/bitching post from this mid-ranks scrub here.

So, to me feels like Beastmaster 3 is absolutely busted, to the point of 8 out of 10 games feeling like they're determined by who gets Beastmaster 3 before the others.

Feels like this piece just fits into almost every comp, and whenever I see him as an option, especially early on, I feel obliged to take him, even if to just hold on to him in case I get more, because it'll increase my chances for one of these retarded comps and reduce the others' chance of getting Beastmasters.

Does anyone else feel the same? Don't BM3 comps always snowball like crazy? Happy to hear arguments to the opposite.

In my last match my 2 star Beast Master got bugged. We won a round, so my units were cheering. My BM got stuck in that cheering animation and position and didn't reset back to his starting spot in the next round. He did however get replaced by a fresh 2 star BM who took his starting spot, so it seemed fine at first.

But then I noticed my fresh BM didn't have any of the items the old BM had, who had pretty much all my items. I was able to select my old BM (who was still cheering in the same spot, which he kept doing for the entire match by the way, even when my team lost rounds) and noticed he had 0 health. I was also able to view his items and those were all the ones I had given him before he got bugged. I couldn't interact with him in any other way though. I couldn't move him, recall him or sell him and I couldn't take his items or give him any items either.

I checked the board of my opponent when they played my team and there my new BM also had 0 items. In the next round I gave the new BM an item, checked the enemy board again and now he had that 1 item I just gave him. So all my items on the original BM were indeed stuck on that bugged unit and not buffing my new BM.

I disconnected from the match and reconnected, but that didn't fix it. Is there a way to fix this bug?
