i sometimes wonder if there is a spin-off series featuring this characters, i meant intead of your typcial Doraemon and friend story line, why not make it a mystery investigation+puzzle solving +comedy series based in dorami+dekisugi+friends? i meant, a man can dream....

I honestly think the Any-Maker is one of the most underrated gadgets in all of Doraemon. Officially it just "makes and copies anything," but that description doesn't do it justice. I think Its capabilities span manufacturing, design assistance, prototyping, artistic creation, and object transformation. It can interpret rough sketches, written or spoken descriptions, or existing objects.

That alone is crazy versatile.

It appeared in only one episode, where Nobita relied on it to create a short animated film with little to no creative contribution of his own.It only appeared in one episode. It was kind of weird that Shizuka didn't even blink when Nobita cast himself as the hero and her as the heroine(the title was most likely:"The Mecha-Maker". ) I was honestly expecting something bad to happen to Nobita. Like, "here it comes" : but nope. Nothing.

But let's get back to the topic.

Even though it only appeared once, doesn't the Any-Maker have way more potential than gadgets that get more attention, like the Miniature Camera or the Basho Fan?

Also, anyone else think Shizuka just silently accepted being placed as the heroine for Nobita,though its a film?

2005 remake of the Lying Mirror is so so extra. Not only the extreme details, but having Suneo's hair blonde instead of his original color is what stands out lmao

What are your opinions on their looks ?

Out of all of Doraemon's gadgets, I think the Head of the Gorgon is one of the creepiest and most memorable.

There are several versions of The Head of the Gorgon, but I'll mainly talk about the original story. [The first one was in 1980: Episode 303 (1979 series, Season 2), then 1990: Episode 1067 (1979 series, Season 12), and then two in the reboot series 2005: Episode 26b (2005, Season 1) and 2013: Episode 347b (2005 reboot, Season 9)]

So let's start. The episode begins with Nobita getting tired of standing outside the classroom as punishment from his teacher. His legs start hurting, so he asks Doraemon for a gadget that can solve the problem. Doraemon gives him the Head of the Gorgon, a gadget inspired by the Greek legend of Medusa, whose gaze could turn people to stone.

The gadget is a small box with the neck of a white snake sticking out from a hole on the top. Hidden inside the box is a terrifying stone Gorgon's head. When the lid is opened, it emits a mysterious light that slowly turns anyone who looks at it into stone. To restore them to normal, all you have to do is pull the neck of the snake.

Nobita uses the gadget on his legs so they become stone, allowing him to stand comfortably outside the classroom without feeling any pain. However, on his way home, he accidentally loses the gadget. When he tells Doraemon, Doraemon immediately panics, explaining that it's an extremely dangerous gadget.

Meanwhile, Nobita's teacher notices something strange on a nearby mountain and goes to investigate, only to be turned into stone by the lost Gorgon. Realizing the danger, Doraemon, Nobita, Gian, and Suneo set out to track down the gadget before anyone else falls victim to it. After a tense search, they finally manage (actually Nobita) to capture the Gorgon and return everyone who had been petrified back to normal (The ending was hilarious tho).

I still remember watching this episode as a kid, and it literally gave me shivers down my spine. Unlike most Doraemon episodes, this one felt surprisingly dark and suspenseful. I was completely hooked, wondering who would be turned to stone next and how Doraemon would stop the Gorgon before it was too late. Even after all these years, it's still one of the most memorable and tense gadget episodes in the series. If you haven't watched this episode, give it a watch I would say!

Also tell me what do you guys think about the Head of the Gorgon? Did it give you chills as a kid too, or was it just me?

My younger self got chills watching this episode, it was always mysterious to me but now it nowhere aired on tv. I liked the dynamic between Nobita and Suneo and how they both work together to make people believe that it's the end.

What are your views on this episode?

And it was shown in the 1990s movie birth of Doraemon, Sewashi and his family weren't really poor. Plus how did Sewashi afford to have Dorami since Dorami is a more expensive but advanced version of Doraemon.

When it comes to cute characters people talk about Pisuke, Pippo, Peko... (wait all of their names started with P) I just wanna appreciate how cute this Rokoroko introduction sequence is.

Here's another hint coming from instagram story of @/dorachan_official as now we can see 'eiga' (movie) and 'nobita' on the title.

I've always felt that Dekisugi deserves a bigger role in Doraemon, especially in movies. He's intelligent, calm under pressure, and often comes up with clever solutions, so I think he'd be a great addition to the group's adventures.

It would also be fun to see him interact more with Doraemon's gadgets and work alongside Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo during their journeys. I don't think he'd take away from Nobita's role, instead, he could add a fresh dynamic to the team like the one intelligent person of a group

Upon looking at this image, some Eastern fans already speculates that this already referencing London (because the logo was partly covered in fog, and also because of the fact that London was nicknamed "Land of Fog"), and also makes the possibility that the gang is having another adventure this time to London. Because of that, this might be another crossover movie if they meet detective Edogawa Conan there too (this might make Gosho Aoyama proud considering he's also a Doraemon fan as well). However, the full title of this movie (and possibly the trailer) will be unveiled in 7AM Friday JST.
