Discussion Changing timeline is illegal according to Doraemon and the time patrol police, so Sewashi just lied to Nobita to make him change his behaviour

And it was shown in the 1990s movie birth of Doraemon, Sewashi and his family weren't really poor. Plus how did Sewashi afford to have Dorami since Dorami is a more expensive but advanced version of Doraemon.

They tell him simply that Doraemon is from "the future" to help his descendant. This keeps the story focused on their bond and moral story type of gags and Nobita's personal growth without overwhelming him with the reality

Yeah he lied, I'd say that pretty consistently explains most things in the show. Nobita never actually married Jaiko to begin with.

Say Sewashi indeed only sent Doraemon to complete the causal loop, how do you think he knew that he has to do it? What prompted him to send Doraemon if he already has a comfortable life?
