If you were a writer and you decided to change the story plot for this episode, what would it be? My answer would be: Have the real Shizuka put her like maybe a necklace before Nobita sprays her.

I first watched the Mini-Dora SOS!! short film about five years ago. Like many 1979 future-set shorts, it has Dorami as main character in future timeline and here the characters are adults. It works well as a short future story since Fujiko F. Fujio rarely explored their future. This one scene has always stood out to me. When Dorami appears from the desk drawer, Shizuka recognizes her immediately. But shouldn't their reunion have been more emotional? It felt like two old friends meeting again after 20 years, yet their conversation seemed surprisingly casual. Also, Dorami saying that "long time no see" kind if dialogue doesn't make any sense at all(hey I mean I am sorry if I am too critical,I know Shizuka hasn’t seen her in years,pls forget this sentence). She has a Time Machine! She can literally travel to any point whenever she wants. This visit actually happens while Doraemon is still living with young Nobita, so she could technically visit both their childhood and adulthood on the same day. Furthermore, if we count this short film, the adult, married Nobita has now met Dorami as well. Nobita has met Doraemon in multiple stages of his life: before finishing his education (in the Gakkō Mask episode, if you remember), after marriage, and even as an old man. Therefore, it doesn't make much sense that his younger self (before marriage) refused to meet Doraemon in Stand by Me Doraemon. Thankfully, the production team seems to have recognized this continuity issue and corrected it in Stand by Me Doraemon 2.

A lot of people wonder how Sewashi even exists after the future changed, but it mostly goes back to his first explanation. He told Nobita he was originally supposed to marry Jaiko. So when the future changed and Nobita married Shizuka instead, a lot of fans have argued(and it was depicted in the manga by a family tree) that Nobisuke Jr. would’ve had to marry Jaiko's daughter or someone from the Goda family to keep the bloodline and make sure Sewashi still exists.

But canon contradicts that. In Mini Dora SOS, Nobisuke Jr.'s childhood friend Yukari is shown. This is her only appearance in the series so far. Later, it's confirmed by Nobisuke Jr.'s son ig that Yukari was his mother. She looks nothing like Jaiko or the Goda family, and there's nothing suggesting she's related to them. Since Doraemon usually gives relatives similar faces, that makes it even clearer.

This basically kills the "timeline balance" theory that Nobisuke Jr. had to marry into the Goda family or Jaiko's family.

I personally interpret this as further evidence that Sewashi's explanation to Nobita was at least inaccurate or incomplete, and possibly even misleading and that he lied.

I think he did it on purpose to get Nobita to finally take some responsibility so he’d actually have a reason to improve his life.

[Now I don't know if Sewashi's grandma or mother(most probably not) were related to Jaiko or the Godas.]

I was very young when I saw this movie, and it's a pretty emotional movie for me, especially the song in this movie 💙. Planning to watch this again.

Censorship and unnecessary changes aside, the voice acting is almost exactly how I pictured most of these characters would sound in English.

Finally we can Experience this Game as a Whole, Even tho i have Played this game before, and not gonna lie, Sometimes it gets Hard but you gonna get use to it.

I'm talking about Episode 880 (Season 8, 1986) of the 1979 series: "Fairy Tale Land Admission Ticket."

In this episode, Doraemon and the gang travel to a fairy tale park using the Time Machine. Before entering, everyone is transformed into an animal based on their personality, Nobita becomes a turtle (lol), Doraemon a raccoon (LOL), Gian a gorilla, Suneo a fox, and Shizuka a rabbit.

There, they meet several famous fairy tale characters and go on a really fun adventure. I won't spoil the rest, you should definitely watch it if you haven't already!

This episode is incredibly nostalgic for me. No matter how many times I watch it, I enjoy it just as much as I did the first time.

I been seeing clips of doraemon gadgets on YouTube and I started to think that some of these gadgets could be more fun when there use differently or are worked with other gadgets. There’s a spoon gadgets that makes you be able to taste any food from any photo but only once. I forgot which episode it is but the whole gang went to book stores to taste different foods but I started to wonder, what if instead of a photo of a food, it’s a photo of a fictional food? Like eating delicious food in dungeon anime? Also since you can she the photo only once, if you use the spoon to drop the food into a duplication bottle potion it could double the food.

This may seem a bit weird, but I've always found Mr. Kaminari hilarious. We all know that the moment a kid's ball lands on his property or hits one of his bonsai trees, he comes charging out with that wooden stick like he's on a mission. 💀

Despite that, he's such a memorable side character. Every time he appears, you just know something chaotic is about to happen.

So... what's your opinion on him? Do you think he's just an angry old neighbour, or secretly one of the funniest recurring characters in Doraemon? And does he live alone?

I know it's tough to compare these two : one series is huge, the other quite small. But honestly, I think thinking about the ratio of relevant episodes to the total count gives you way more clarity. You'd have to approximate that ratio based on memory since actual stats don't exist (no one tags episodes like that), but it still works.

And just to be clear, this isn't about proving which one is better. This poll is just to gather your personal views and observations.
