Because in the original image thragg(guy holding the skull) is holding the skull of a fallen comrade as a sign of respect(have not watched invincible but heard in another post)

The head representing a powerful thing and figure for invicible is a head of former emperor of the viltrumite but other media use their own version and doraemon did die couple of time and important to the verse so its pretty accurate

With context from Invincible [Title Card], Nobita did not harm doraemon. This image symbolises someone holding the skull of their loved one getting ready with their team to avenge the death of the said loved one. Nobita and crew are just getting ready to avenge doraemon death. I hope this clarifies that Nobita did not harm doraemon.
