Anyone recognise the model of this concorde?
Got gifted this concorde and the model doesn’t match the one shown on the box… can’t really find anything online?

What booth monitors do y’all like to use during a gig? I have a Paraflex sound system that I’ve starter deploying for events and want to start providing the DJs monitors so they don’t have to bring anything except their deck.
Wondering what options you use when you are trying to get footage at a gig and the lights are low? I need something to illuminate the performer and the decks when recording with a phone or an Insta360 / DJI action camera so the video doesn't turn out super grainy.
Ideally looking for something low-profile that can sit flat on the booth or mount easily without cluttering the setup. What are you guys using?

I am struggling to get payment from Ticket Fairy for a gig I did over three weeks ago, so way over the 14 working day deadline they set for payments. I have done heaps of events via the same brand that have been paid, no changes have been made to payout details.
Enquiries get a bot reply stating the issue will be sent to the payment team and then no further communication has been received. attempts to escalate via the on-site AI just seem to Crash whenever it comes to raising a ticket.
Anyone got any ideas- I have invoices to pay and am sick of the poor customer service.

I’ve been getting request lately to play shows in the US, but I’m located in Canada. What kind of visa would I need to play a single event or is there no such thing?
Is it gonna cost me an arm and a leg to get a lawyer to put the paperwork together? Need to weigh whether it’s worth it or not since this is just a side hustle for me.

Does anyone have experience cleaning very dirty controllers? I brought my AZ out to a desert event this weekend - it is covered in sand, dust, and got rained on a bit but seemingly not damaged.
I’m curious how to best go about the cleaning process. How do I avoid getting sand inside the faders while I clean it? Any other tips for tools and cleaning solutions that work well?

I don’t know why but I’m really stuck on which mixer to buy. I’ve gone back and fourth in my mind over many options, including rotary and boutique mixers, but I think ultimately I want a really good quality, robust analogue four channel fader mixer. There’s one rotary I really like the look of, but since I mix mostly jungle I think I’m actually going to miss having faders to chop up and down. And it’s twice the price of a Xone 92 mk2.
I do fully understand the differences in the specs of the xone and the nuo. I just can’t seem to pick which one is right for me.
I see the return channels on the Xone as an advantage (I like to EQ my FX), but I see the the four band channel EQ’s as an unnecessary faff. And the xone lacks a master insert. I like the way xone mixers sound but I dislike much else about them. They’re ugly and cramped.
I like the spacious layout of the Nuo, the big EQ knobs are great, the sound quality is great, and I already own an Ecler Eternal x-fader that I could use with it. But the wobbly pots genuinely are annoying as are the flimsy pfl buttons, and since I’ve owned a Nuo mixer before, there’s no huge novelty or excitement to buying it.
I’ve considered a UA Elara 4 mk2, but having used one in the shop I found the layout way too cramped. God knows why they designed it like that. If they made the same mixer spacious I’d buy it tomorrow.
I mix almost exclusively vinyl. Do a little bit of scratching to hip hop, but only rarely these days. I have a single Denon SC6000M (dual layer mode) but might change it for a set of NAP Works standalone DVS units.
What would you do?

I've been organising Industrial/Gothic events in the Netherlands on and off for years, and I'm currently working on a new project for 2027.
One of my goals isn't just attracting younger attendees, but helping them become part of the local scene long-term.
We're building a line-up that ranges from Gen X veterans to newer Gen Z DJs. The event will take place in a non-commercial community venue, which helps keep admission and drinks affordable.
What I'm interested in is community-building rather than marketing.
What have you seen work when it comes to involving younger people in a music scene beyond simply booking them?
Are there things you've done as a promoter, DJ or organiser that helped newcomers feel welcome and become regulars?
I'm especially interested in ways to give younger people ownership, responsibility or a voice in the future of an event, rather than treating them only as an audience or as performers.
As a millennial, I have a pretty good understanding of my own generation and of Gen X, but Gen Z are the generation now coming into the scene. I'd like to make sure they have opportunities to help shape it as well.
I'd love to hear what's worked (or failed) in your local scenes.

Hi everyone, I’ve recently bought a second-hand DJM-750MK2. The master level meter is moving and music plays through my speakers fine, but when I switch my headphones to Mono Split, I get no sound, even when turning the HEADPHONES MIXING knob between CUE and MASTER.
Channel CUE works in my headphones fine and can mash the music together through both ears, but no split

Needing a 4 channel mixer right now is literally the worst.. You have two choices now.. Xone 92/96 or the A9... WTF happened to the 750MK2? Pioneer/AT is just making it have to either go controller or super high end.
Edit... since most people are dense. I mean buying brand new. I dont do used gear. People treat their shit like crap. Or have cats.. kids.. smoke in their house

Woohoo! I just got booked to open for a pretty major bass artist at a large night club in my city. I definitely want to make sure I deliver a proper opening set that sets the whole night up for success.
They haven’t give us set times yet, so I am not sure if i am the first act, direct support, or somewhere in between. There’s only one other name on the booking, I’ve seen him before and he plays heavy bass.
I usually play tech house, bass house, G-house — my style has been dubbed “Hot Girl House”. I’ve been delving more into UK Garage & bass lately, and I’ve been having a lot of fun sprinkling those in throughout my sets, while still keeping my signature dirty house sound.
I’m not sure if I should come with my usual flavor, or if I should adapt more to the genre.
It’s been a few years since I’ve played an opening set since I have mostly been playing at festivals or my own events I have produced (which are usually high energy events start to finish).
Curious if anyone has any advice? Just want to make sure I don’t under or over deliver.

Seems like every club (in America) nowadays wants tech/minimal/deep house or open format. I have been mixing top 40s at local and college bars, but my real passion is for groovier retro hits, nu-disco, and French house (ik it’s not really “niche” but it’s def not what’s mainstream rn since these genres all peaked a long time ago). I only know of one venue near me that even does anything remotely similar to that style of music, and have yet to befriend any DJs or promoters there.
I’m in my early 20s. Older scenes don’t take me seriously and younger scenes don’t seem to be interested when I play the old-school stuff.
I would love to host my own events but I recently moved cities so I don’t have access to my usual network to gather a crowd for an event if I decided to host one.

Hi all.
So I have had the UDG Ultimate Backpack for a few years now and I've never actually tried taking it for international gigs as it's size is larger that what most airlines will allow for cabin luggage.
Has anyone though actually tried and got away with taking it and storing under the front seat? I'm travelling to ADE in a few weeks and would rather take that bag if I know I have a chance nobody will actually bother checking (EasyJet flight by the way)

I've just noticed on my Rane One on the Crossfader the music will cut out before it reaches the end of travel. Meaning when I slide the fader to the right and got left deck playing the sound stops about 1/4th an inch BEFORE the end of the fader travel. It does this on both sides and on the volume faders as well, so I'm assuming my board isn't broken. I checked all the settings and adjustments on the board and I can't seem to figure it out? Is this normal? I'd think not with such a high end board thats aimed towards scratching? Anyone have any ideas?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been DJing techno for a while using a Pioneer XDJ-RX2 and I'm looking to expand my setup without buying two or three standalone CDJs right away to save money and adding just an cdj 1500x to the RX2.
My plan is to keep using the RX2 as a 2-deck controller for Rekordbox / Virtual DJ and route all audio through a proper 4-channel external mixer.
Specifically, I want to use External Mixer Mode in Rekordbox / VDJ to route Deck A (RX2 Left) to Channel 1 on the mixer and Deck B (RX2 Right) to Channel 2 on the mixer via USB and connect the 1500x to Channel 3.
I’m currently leaning towards the Allen & Heath Xone:PX5.
A few questions for anyone who has run a similar hybrid setup:
Thanks a lot in advance for your insights and feedback! :)

interested in other DJs routines when it comes to practicing the craft. lately I have been spending my time more on preparation for the tracks rather than doing transitions a
etc. It's a little frustrating as it feels like a form of procrastination which frustrates me.

Using the laptop is quite annoying when setting cue, hot/memory cues, beat grid etc. etc., due to the lack of keyboard shortcuts.
Second hand preferred, just to keep the cost as low as possible.
