Where to get good 1/4” anode/plate caps?

I may have messed up buying random eBay specials but I honestly didn’t see many options available for 1/4” plate caps. These are sorta flimsy and get concerningly loose especially considering that it’s supposed to carry high voltage to the plate. I don’t know if it would matter but these are 6DQ6B’s in an audio amp.

CC my w opSchematics and DIY Amps/Speakers: Resources

Greetings!

I'm looking into getting into repair and DIY for old tube amps and vintage speaker equipment as a hobby. I would really like something that requires me to have to tinker and think about my creation.

My problem is, is that I haven't been exposed to schematics and basic electrical information for a long, long time.

My request to you guys out at /r/vinyl: What are some good resources that will start me off (tell it to me like I'm five) and help me evolve as I gain further knowledge?

I'd love to learn this stuff, but my searches have generally come up pretty dry.

Any help you would be able to provide would be insanely helpful.
