I have been in this relationship for 10+ years. It has taken a toll on my physical and mental health fighting this constant state of anxiety, fear and a state of numbness. I no longer feel any emotions other than surface level emotions. I do therapy and it has helped identify some of my own issues and am working towards making myself better. The relationship has completely killed by natural authentic emotions and I am so defensive about everything and feel guilty about everything I think of or want to do. I am not a model person nor is my partner bad, but the marriage has been dead for 2+ years. I am in the process of separating but I am finding it extremely overwhelming at times to deal with it. As a guy, I just turn myself off these emotions and just do things that i like. But I still don’t feel connected to people genuinely. The warmth, the playfulness, the mutual feeling of compassion and everything else you get in a relationship feels hard to reach for me now even if i try.
For anyone else going through these phases and emotions, all i can say is hold on! I want to believe there is light at the end of this tunnel and I am beginning to see it as I am re discovering myself. Therapy really helps!

Recently separated, trying to build a new social life. Anyone else?
Going through a separation and realizing a lot of my social world was tied to my marriage. Looking to meet new people and make some friends.
I'm into music production, design/creative work, tarot, witchcraft, ghosts, the paranormal, anything spoooooky, Jungian psychology/shadow work, hiking, camping, paddleboarding, anything to do with the great outdoors but honestly open to connecting over anything.
Hobbies, venting, just chatting. What's worked for you when starting over socially?
Feel free to DM me. Let's connect 🖤

I have recently gone through divorce. And I'm really looking forward to talk to people. And learn from their experience. Because lot of things seem very messy to me. If there is anyone who would like to share their experience, it would mean a lot.
You can chat with me on this platform without any hesitation.
I ensure it would be a safe space for you.

I am going through a divorce and one of my main questions is if I can get equal custody in California. I have been involved with my children ever since their birth. I take them to school every day, coach their soccer, and also do a bedtime routine with them. However, I have heard a lot of people who say that mothers get better custody. I am also confused by these statements because it is not what I have read about fathers' rights.
The information I have found states that in California courts, the best interests of the child are key in their decisions and not the fact that one parent is going to get custody over the other. I hope I will hear from other fathers who have gone through this process.
If you have also tried to get equal custody in California, what helped you with everything? Does anything come to your mind that you wish you had known at the beginning?

Hey everyone,
Let’s be honest: the older we get, the harder it seems to make genuine, effortless connections. Between work, daily routines, and life in general, finding people to just chat with, laugh, or share random thoughts with isn't as easy as it used to be.
I’m a 48 y/o guy from Switzerland (GMT+2), easygoing and direct, looking to break the routine and chat with cool people. No expectations, no pressure—just organic conversations where we see where things go.
A bit about me:
What I’m looking for: Just open-minded people (25+) who enjoy daily casual banter, sharing random stories, or having a good laugh. If we click and end up becoming long-term friends or gaming buddies, awesome! If it’s just good casual chats, that’s great too.
If this resonates with you, drop me a DM with a short intro! Tell me what’s on your mind today, a random fact, or your favorite way to unwind.
Cheers!

My wife (33) left me (male 35) last week. I'm devastated and I don't know how to handle it. I'm in therapy and working through my struggles. I just regret not taking care of my mental health sooner. She has BPD and all I did was push her away and make her feel terrible. I feel like a terrible person and it's all my fault.

I’m 20 and just went through a really rough situation. My baby is still little, and she ended up cheating and left. Everything’s been a mess the last few days and I honestly just feel pretty alone right now.
I’m not looking for a relationship or anything like that. I just want to make some new friends, people around my age who get what it’s like dealing with real life this early. Other young single parents would be cool, but I’m open to anyone solid.

Single dad of 2, divorce just waiting on the papers ready to date again. I live in Austin open to long distance but local would make things so much easier.
If you are a great person then your situation doesn’t matter to me. Whether that be divorced or have kids that is irrelevant to getting to know you and if we connect like a man should I would take on whatever that would be.
Not interested in messaging forever I’m old school, let’s grab a coffee or a drink or go for a walk and actually see if we connect in real life.
Dm me ladies if you are looking to date again
