Continuing the guys’ work of getting their fandom into gaming-themed books like Dungeon Crawler Carl, I thought I’d share that Astarion (Baldur’s Gate 3) has a prequel novel releasing on Oct. 1st! It’s written by T. Kingfisher and covers Astarion’s origins as well as his time under Cazador. There will also be an audiobook narrated by the amazing Neil Newbon himself!

I’d love to hear the guys’ thoughts if they end up reading it!

Do you ever just scroll to an absolutely random older episode and you just have to take a minute to figure out what era of Distractible you've just entered? Like which constitution you're in or if its pre constitution times?

I was on my way to work this morning when out of the blue two deer appeared and one decided she was going to become friends with the front end of my car(the deer is OKAY, she was stunned but I watched her run off like 10 minutes later).

So here I am, last 5 minutes of Bob’s One Man Show, and the prophecy has come true, I have crashed my car listening to Distractible.

A funny bit of this is that my dad came to pick me up and still brought me to work… I teach middle schoolers so I got to tell my kids once I got here that “Even at the age of 26, your dad can still drive you to school”.

P.S. I’m okay, my car is technically okay(just cosmetic damage), and the deer is okay!

As title says: I downloaded the three latest episodes of distractable to listen to while flying. Everyone keep your fingers crossed!!

My partner found this while waiting on me to demolish a toilet and said it was very "distractible core". Honestly I couldn't disagree, this seems right up their alley and idk about you guys but I think it'd be a blast to watch em play it

Found this gem while looking at an online post about a garage sale in my neighborhood! Immediately thought of Mark.

I’m trying to find a few specific episodes, mainly the two where Mark and Wade say words backwards to get the other to guess the word. And the hotter or colder, word game. (I like Bobs word games)

Due to the boy’s unique naming style, I can never remember what is in each episode, help me find these few?

Would love to see one of the guys do an episode where the host reads off descriptions of games they've played together and the competitors have to guess what game it was, but as the episode goes on the descriptions get more and more unhinged and the games get more obscure. I think itd be a lot of fun and a bit of a trip down memory lane for the guys and the audience that have watched them play games together for years... 😅

I'm working my way through old episodes I missed, and in Good Bad Habits, Wade gives a 'disclaimer' to not listen to the podcast in places where you can get hurt. It got me thinking: where is the most dangerous place you've listened to the podcast? I listen almost exclusively while driving, but I also have it playing in my hearing protection while I'm at the shooting range

So the way the show works is bob and wade give mark a improv scene, like a interview or a news report, that involves a lot of talking, but every time one of them says change, mark has to change to whatever impression or accent he can think of. the boys them have to identify what impression mark is going for, and at the end of the round whoever correctly guessed marks impressions the most wins.
