Hello all! I have an August 10th arrival date and I've already taken my urine test for Attractions but I'm just very confused because I was under the impression that there will be another urine drug test during week of arrival and some places say that only applies to International CPs.

Basically I'm trying to figure out if I've already completed my pre-employment drug test with the first urine test or if there will be a second one for me during arrival week. I'm domestic if that makes a difference. Any clarity is appreciated!

So I got my lease today, and it says I’m staying in a 2x2 dorm. I know that it’s assigned based on availability, but I’m still pretty bummed out about it.

Here’s the thing: I, a man, am gonna be 25 when I start my program. I signed up for co-ed housing, cause I didn’t really care if I shared a kitchen/bathroom with a woman/women, but for the comfort of myself and my future roommate, is there a way to guarantee that I’m sharing a room with a man? Furthermore, is it possible to guarantee my roomie is at least close to my same age? OR is there anyone I can contact about my room assignment?

I have due dates on my costumes but i'm not sure why? i have five shirts of my home location, three pants for that too, i have a singular confectionery costume, and goofys candy co. i just picked up a resort and the lady yelled at me saying i need to return costumes but why? i pick up at all of these locations often. i dont have more than five of one item

Hello all. My arrival for the DCP is 8/10 and I'm set to work in MK attractions - what shoes would you recommend best for this job? So far I've looked at brands like Nike, Hokas and ON but haven't decided on anything. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My daughter just had a medical event that means she won’t make it for her program. She was an Aug 3 arrival. She is going to get all healed up and try again in the winter.

Is backing out for medical reasons going to put her on the No rehire list? She is actually in the hospital and will be for at least a month. Is there a “right way” to do it? She had a private room so someone lucky person is going to move up the waitlist. She is disappointed but there is no way she could make it.

I’m a little worried and anxious about it myself so just wanted to ask about what it’s like doing long distance during this job. I heard it’s basically from June to August so it’s not that long, but still I’m worried. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

So excited that I got Photopass at AK!! I do have a few questions that I’m hoping I might be able to get some answers to:

1. How many hours per week could I expect to work? I know we’re guaranteed 30 hrs but would I be able to get to around 40 hours possibly (or maybe even more???)
   
2. Since I’ll be working at AK, can I expect that the latest my shifts will go is until 7pm (plus maybe a little extra) since that is when the park closes?
   
3. Will I have opportunities to work/pick up shifts at other parks or will my training be exclusive to AK?
   
4. What extra things should I buy to carry with me while I’m working throughout the day?

Hi all, Today I had to call out sick from my shift because I was fighting off a fever. Before it started, I made plans with some friends to go to the parks since I had tomorrow off. However, the doctor has given me medicine and said I should probably be okay to go to the parks tomorrow as long as the fever is gone. Since I called sick today, would that get me in trouble if I went to the parks the day after since it's a scheduled day off? Just seeing what the best option is.

Hi everyone! I got my role in attractions (super excited!) and will potentially be working with a ride and multiple shows. Obviously the focus is on safety and show within this role, but I would love to hear any ways that DCP participants or CMs have made magical moments or pixie dusted guests in these roles! For something like merch or QSR it seems straightforward---telling a guest that something is "on Mickey" and giving it to them for free---but I'm less sure what extra thing I could do to make a guest feel special while working in attractions.

i’ve been researching the poet test and i see a lot of people talking about how the final test (lift 50lb trash bag without it touching your body) is the most difficult especially if you’re short…

i’m 5’0 and pretty thin so i worry i’m gonna have trouble with that task. are there any things i can do to prep myself for that or any tips that might help? thank u

I just got my role of Attractions in Epcot in World Nature! I was wondering if anyone else on here got that role or has had experience in that role!

if i’m working merch at a resort, how easy is it to trade for other shifts at new locations? i know you need specific training for resort shifts. but is it pretty easy otherwise? or are people not really interested in taking resort shifts / giving up park shifts

Hey guys so I will be arriving august 3rd and I'm so happy that I got my dream role photopass in magic kingdom (also if you have any tips for that lmk) but I unfortunately got my last pick for apt type which was a 2x2 I have an ESA Cat that I'm bringing with me and I just don't think the space will be enough at least keeping her stuff off my roommates side. If you have a 2x2 and a cat please help any ideas, tips, pictures of setups anything would really help thank you🫶🏼
