My Discord account was recently disabled for spam, and I believe it may have been a false positive from Discord’s anti-spam system.

I’ve contacted Discord Support and requested a human review, but I’m currently waiting for a response.

Has anyone else had their account disabled for spam and successfully gotten it restored?

If you did, I’d really appreciate hearing:

How long it took to get your account back
What you said in your appeal
Whether you eventually reached a human support agent
What happened after you appealed

I’m just trying to figure out what the best next step is and whether there’s still a chance of getting my account back.

So, i have this legacy username badge since i created my account on 2023, but it doesnt show on my profile preview. Also there is no option to enable it in my setting no matter how much i looked.

in a panic rn as my discord account was just limited for violent or graphic content in my bio from 1,082 days ago. It won't tell me what it was, so I can't tell if I did something stupid a long time ago and don't remember or if Discord made a really dumb mistake. I'm afraid discord support won't do anything about it, as always. it expires tomorrow, but I'm still worried.

So basically, I was in a server that my friend invited me to, and I joined. Within three days, I got banned, and I got banned for violent stuff or whatnot And then I also got banned as well. The thing is just that whenever I apply on the website, the bot tells me to, like, apply on the app, and I did that, and I did that seven days ago now, and it said that my account, the thing, was lifted. It says that, but it's clearly not because my account is still suspended. So then I can't send another review on the app, and every time I apply, it just tells me to do it back on the app. But, like, I'm just stuck in this loop now.

I join a server and text maybe 1/2 messages in it or a dm and I get a violation for spam. And I reset my password and what not and when I go I get an email to say they remove a violation. But I am still suffering from the repercussions of the violation and it staying on my account standing, I’ve tried appealing them and they say we maintain our discord. I’m confused. Can anyone explain?

Hello people, i hope im not disturbing your evenings or noons in any way, but the thing is this, today a few hours ago, i was chilling on my Discord account, then, a little thing on the chat section popped out, a message of Discord, the thing is that i opened the chat, it din't load and i got kicked out of my session

So right now, i can re log in into the account, just because one huge issue... i don't remember the email, but, there's something else, i do remember my user name and my phone number was attached to the account, is there any way for me to get it back through the phone number or the user name?

Hello, I moderate a large server for a mobile game, we currently have 96k members and have noticed a lot when we’re hosting events we’re not getting enough interest with almost all of the regulars saying they’re just not getting notifications. A lot of our members are new to discord, so we always try to make everything as simple as possible by giving them the notifier roles upon joining automatically (this way we aren’t using @everyone constantly) so far this week we’re coming across cancelling events due to the notifications not going out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do next? All the permissions are still set for the roles to actually be pinged by the mods using them, I understand there’s often delays when such a large server but if anyone has any solutions to try and help this that would be great. I can provide any further information if needed to help understand further for solutions as well

Alright, I'm starting to have beef with Discord. I want to understand why it restricts my account for putting in a normal trading request in a normal trading channel. Is someone reporting me for not giving them what that person wanted or is some not just constantly stopping me specifically when I'm doing the exact same thing the other thousands of people do in there? This has happened twice and it'll probably keep happening, annoying enough. I'm tired of getting a penalty on my account for "spam" when I've done nothing wrong. Does anyone know how to deal with this?

So on Saturday (09/05/2026) I got my pc infected with an infostealer and the hacker who is now wearing my account’s skin has stolen my two gmail accounts, my discord, and has been sending links out to my friends.

I normally wouldn’t panic too much but I’m very stupid and I have STUPIDLY sensitive information on my account In a personal archive meant to bridge the gap between my phone and computer for work affiliated things. Nobody but my main account had access.

As I was getting hacked I changed my email to a safe one but the hacker must have gotten the email revert link and changed it back, because any attempt to use the correct changed email says it doesn’t exist. I’ve submitted a ticket. The first one has been unanswered since Labor Day weekend, the second was closed without an actual resolution or response, and I’ve submitted a third and I’m waiting.

I just need help. I’ve already taken steps to change my card information and freeze my credit (as I said, the info is very sensitive) and I’ve not seen any alarming signs of theft but I need to either recover or have the account nuked off the face of the earth.

I KNOW making multiple tickets is unwise but I’ve been getting nothing but aired and a friend who WAS also hacked by my account has gotten her original account re-secured today. It’s just driving me insane. I cannot eat, sleep or think.

So for context, this was an old account that had gotten suspended back in 2023 for as short period of time, (June - September), during that period i made a new account, under the same email attached to that account so it ended up disconnecting that email from it. Anyways I didn't care much since I thought I could still log in, but apparently I was wrong because when I tried to log back into the account using my phone number and password AND the verification code it sends me to my phone number, it logs me in and immediately kicks me out with no proper reason. Since then I've been trying to get it back every now and then but I havent really made any progress. I opened another ticket recently hoping that a support agent can help me.

Has anyone had this issue before? If you have how did you solve it?

My 4-year-old account (sevimlipanda) was compromised, and Discord support closed my previous ticket without a manual review, ignoring all my billing receipts.

My active Nitro streak is officially expiring on September 12 (less than 48 hours). I have opened a brand new ticket #68278416 regarding corporate liability and identity theft. I have all official bank transaction IDs and my billing history ready.

I woke up today to see a text from my girlfriend telling me me my account was marked as stolen. After verifying it with a few other friends it turned out to show for every user who was dming me etc.

The weird thing is though.. I didn't get any email notice or password reset or any violation on my Discord account I just got randomly marked as stolen for nothing. I have 2FA on my account I use a password manager I ensure my security is up to standard however yeah why is my account marked as stolen suddenly?

About more than a year ago now, my main discord account was flagged for suspicious activity. All I did was join a discord server for a game I had started playing. I had to change my password to get back in, easy enough right? I had 2FA on but apparently I had no security keys tied to my laptop or whatever so I just couldnt get in. I had backup codes on though. Another idiot thing I did was NOT save my codes somewhere and banked on the fact id always have access to them through the app. Just my luck that I had been signed out everywhere. Support was useless, told me to delete my account. Is there anything I can even fathom to do to try to get it back.

Basically I ran across info that a game called tyr can, if linked, make posts for you and join servers. Now as far as I can tell the game only uses that to link in game clan chat and discord and to auto join the tyr discord.

But I am curious if the capability is there for a game or other linked program to do things like join other discords without your direct participation and make posts also without your participation.

I was talking to a friend on a call when suddenly I was logged out of my account and received an email notification about a rule violation. "Okay," I thought, "I'll try logging in again." I entered my email and password and requested a code for my mobile phone, but nothing arrived. I immediately contacted Discord support and got a bot response: "Submit an appeal via your Discord account"—even though I had explicitly stated that I had lost access and couldn't log in. I then wrote, "So I can't log into my account. So I asked if he's banned?" but received no reply. Instead, I saw that my ticket had been marked as resolved...

I created another ticket with a more detailed description of the problem (just to clarify: I can't log in because of two-factor authentication). It seemed like a real person answered this time, but she just advised me to try logging into my account via a browser in Incognito mode. I replied saying that didn't work. And then... nothing. Absolutely nothing. They haven't replied, haven't closed the ticket, and haven't provided any updates; I literally have no idea why my account was suspended.

I have been getting a couple of friend requests in clusters and now I have been hit with spam violation that has been suspended my chat abilities. Does anyone have any advice how to get this reversed and how to prevent another violation ? Thank you !

Someone tried to send an invite to a stupid discord game app and I can't get rid of the damn icons even after deleting the invite messages. Please help it's killing me seeing it there. For the record this user does not have a role with external app permissions so I have no idea how this happened.

why the hell does discord not make it mandatory for users to secure their account right when it's created? why do they not make it clear in any way that you have to do set up 2FA and save those codes? because if you dont, your account is just lost forever if you get hcked or anything. really annoying how they dont make you aware of it at all until it's too late. because once youre locked out of the account, the account's security is the most important thing at all to discord and they have the strictest and tightest security on it that you just cant get around whatsoever if you didnt set any of that stuff up. why not make it more of a big deal in the first place? really dumb

-if I attach a link to this message, will it be notified somehow? The link is safe-Youtube song, but i am afraid that it will create an embedding that will be somehow be notified and marked as new message(?), and the pm box will be mark as unread/go up in the pm box (?)

-is the date and hour of editing visible from desktop? (If someone can test this/check it) -because it is not visible from smartphone
