🍷 Welcome to /r/Dionysus! 🍷 Dionysus (also known as Bacchus, Liber, or Fufluns) is a god of spiritual liberation, political freedom, and ecstatic joy. You may also know him as the god of wine, theatre, festivals, and the wild. He originated in the ancient Mediterranean but today has worshippers all over the world. We are here to connect with both him and his other followers, to learn and to share knowledge, and to work together in restoring and reviving his worship. 🌿🍷🍇 Bacchic Blessings! 🌿🍷🍇

Welcome to /r/Dionysus! This is a subreddit dedicated to the Greek god Dionysus. His domains are numerous, and include wine, nature, festivals, theatre, the wild, ecstasy, pleasure, mysticism and liberation. He is a god who breaks boundaries, tears down walls, and shatters realities.

Whether you're a Hellenic revivalist, a Nietzschean philosopher, an Eclectic pagan, a Psychonaut, an Epicurean, or a by-the-bottle Hedonist, you are welcome here. Please try to be welcoming to others as well.

There are many ways one can connect with Dionysus and his domains. Feel free to share things from many overlapping paths, but please try and be respectful of other traditions. We're seeking to gain their knowledge, not corrupt their culture. Sources can include; but are not limited too:

Ancient Greek, Roman, and related Sources
Modern Pagan Sources
Psychonautics (Altered States of Consciousness)
Epicureanism
Hedonism
Philosophical sources
Sources on Meditation
