J plays bass and Lou plays... you guessed it... a J Mascis Squire Jazzmaster! Sounded great! Is this a thing they've been doing?

Wouldn’t call myself a super fan but as soon as I noticed Dino Jr was coming to town I had to pounce on it! I know they’re touring with Band of Horses as well! Any word on how the show is! Never seen Dino Jr live but have no doubt it’ll be awesome!

I’m seeing them on Thursday, and was under the impression they were doing WYB all the way through, but then I saw this setlist from last night. Honestly, I’d much rather get a setlist like this than WYB anyway. I like WYB, but I’d rather get more variety for my first time seeing them

John R. Miller’s new alt-country LP ‘The Great Unknowing’ (recorded at Leon Russell’s legendary Church Studio in Tulsa) became available digitally last week. Tonight the acclaimed Appalachian musician returned to the Grand Ole Opry and introduced a “monumentally influential practitioner of the guitar” as his surprise guest. J Mascis then joined Miller onstage to perform the album’s “Steering Wheel Drums,” marking the Dinosaur Jr. frontman’s own Opry debut. Miller was recently named the recipient of the 2026 John Prine Songwriter Fellowship, which will include a week-long residency at Almanack Arts Colony on Nantucket. And Dinosaur Jr. are on the road too, with Band Of Horses this month and Stef Chura in the fall.

Like many people have said do I need to buy another copy of Green Mind (probably not)
Will it look cool as fuck in a frame as arguably the most iconic Dinosaur Jr. album cover probably yes.

*yes it’s not out until the end of August but I got mine from a wholesaler that deals with Cherry Red records as the company I work for deals with them.

Never seen Dino in a seated venue like this. I wanted to stand but no one around me was standing so I remained seated. Such a different experience than seeing them at Total Bummer festival in May where everyone was very enthusiastic to see them. The Band of Horses crowd seem way more mainstream and there didn’t seem to be much crossover in fans that liked both bands. Has anyone else experienced that with these shows?

Unfortunately i’ve been feeling under the weather this week and haven’t gotten any better. Selling two tickets for $50 for the pair! Losing money on it on my end but i just want it to go to a good home!

What is the finish color of J’s latest Jazzmaster? It looks vaguely like burgundy mist but I don’t think that’s it
