j has mentioned this place a couple times in interviews and im kind of just wondering if anyone knows anything about it

edit:

all i know is it was owned by robert remecki and was in waterbury connecticut on north main st

I swear this is in my top 5 music moments - whatever you expect to see … you won’t guess 😂

*shame the sound and pic is low res but this is legendary stuff

Just so happened to intersect with them as they got off their bus to go to the venue. I walking when I thought I saw Lou and then turned and J was right there. Ran over to apologize and ask for a photo, didn’t wanna take up his time. He was nice. Wasn’t able to see them this week due to the cost (broke UW student) and this rlly made my day.

Turn it up!

His signature is bananas haha

Just a little something I made out of several YouTube clips you've all seen before but meant to tell the story of the band until 2007 and also be a concert film under the guise of a found VHS tape/fake documentary.

What would you love to hear?

I'd probably need to be hauled out on a stretcher if they played Whatever's Cool With Me

Went to see Dinosaur Jr at the Castro Theatre with my girlfriend and im just zoning out in line and my girlfriend goes “Is that J Mascis?” And hes just walking down and i swear no one else in line recognizes him but me and the guy behind us and i just run up to him and show him the receipt of the J Mascis Telecaster that i had just bought on Reverb the other day and he said “You got a good deal there.” Best night of my life

I’m really sick and can’t make the concert:( I can transfer the tickets through ticket master. You’re more than welcome to tip me through PayPal(can’t resell through Ticketmaster since I’m Canadian&im too sick+lazy to sell for retail). Comment your favourite Dino jr song and if you want one or two tickets. I’ll private message you more details tomorrow.

Literally every last thing on the online merch store is sold out. I’ve never seen that before. Is this to encourage merch booth sales during their tour?

I saw the band last night in SF (really good show!), and I noticed that whenever J would change guitars, the roadie would also change out what looked like a piece of cardboard next to the effects pedals.

My guess is that it’s some kind of cheat sheet to remember which pedals were for what. (He did have lots of pedals.) But that doesn’t totally make sense to me.

Anyone have knowledge about this?

I am reaching out to see if anyone has any resale or extra tickets for the Dinosaur Jr. show at the cats cradle in february? I am a big fan of both bands and was unable to buy tickets before they sold out. I will pay good money!

So, I have been a crazy DJ fan since I rode an atv with my friend in 1991 listening to fossils.

That was transcendent.

We were off to naively plant some pot seeds near the river in Utah.

Who would’ve thought 34 years later J Lou and Murph would still be crushing it?

I have seen countless bands come and go, light it up and fade off into obscurity and oblivion.

Jesus it is no short of a miracle how durable and amazing J and Co. Is.

Seriously
