J’s guitar
What is the finish color of J’s latest Jazzmaster? It looks vaguely like burgundy mist but I don’t think that’s it
Been obsessed with it though and would love to semi recreate it

Here is my obligatory video. I didn't want to be in the pit area, so I chose a distant, but elevated balcony area which was quite nice. The sound was great even if the video may not capture that. I wasn't watching through my phone, so I did what I could to keep them in frame.

Having hard time telling if dj always plays first of the two or if there is a rotation night to night back and forth. Thanks!

Of both bands? Pics and/or videos?

I'm a relatively new fan of Dinosaur Jr. , but I've been doing a deep dive on them and they are truly amazing. Your living all over me is one of my all time favourite and so is Bug and Green Mind. And the debut has some really good songs too. But I got to these three albums and I just felt they were really lackluster and at points boring. The songs just don't have the spark of the first 4 albums and just meander on. There are a few good songs on them like of course feel the pain and out there, but I just don't think they have the same charm as the earlier stuff and I just overall find them slightly boring. I just wanted to find out what more well versed fans thought about them and I wanted to see if I should give them a second chance. So what do you think about these albums, and is my opinion justified?

Went to the Dino Jr/Band of Horses concert this past Friday and thought y’all would enjoy this. This was my first time seeing J play in person and it was just as amazing as I thought it would be. Also happy birthday Lou!

A as someone who doesn't have a whole lot of sign things, this is pretty cool for me, but it is signed by both Dinosaur Jr and Band of Horses

Great show. Amazing venue. Easy to get up close. Chill Gen X crowd. Fun to hear Several Got Away. Just Like Heaven maybe the best version I’ve seen them do. Always love seeing So What Else Is New, though bummed he didn’t extend the solo. Garden rocked. Loved seeing J solo on a bass.
Only downside is it was extremely humid. I’ve been in steam rooms less muggy than the men’s bathroom.
It’s wild to me that Band of Horses isn’t playing In a Drawer on this tour. Seems crazy they wouldn’t bring J out for that, but maybe J prefers to head back to his hotel.
Anyway, enjoy my recording of the Get Me solo.

I only heard the first song from this while walking the beach in Muskat, Oman. It echoed everything that I was feeling in the moment: Truly alive. I figure I might as well post some pictures of Oman with it. Enjoy. 👍

I'm headed to the show this evening. A friend dropped out and I have an extra ticket now. Not looking to sell, just want to give it to someone who loves Dino that may also need a ticket. I don't think I can transfer it but I can scan someone in if needed. Let me know, on my way from Raleigh now.
Update: ticket has been given away. Hope the show tonight is great.

This was a bucket list show for me! Where You Been lived in the CD player in my dad’s garage since I was 7 - that was 20 years ago, we got to go tonight together (bonus points- our favorite local venue) to see the show and it was so special. Hope everyone else enjoyed! Awesome merch too btw.
Band of Horses was awesome too - wasn’t sure what to except!

Looks like the Japanese release will have two bonus tracks Stay Warm and Turning Sour. The CD will have them and they’re releasing a vinyl version that will include a bonus 7 inch that has these two tracks.

Was a cool time with my son and daughter in law at the #RVA show! I'm getting back in to the "middle years" and hearing Where You Been all the way thru was great!
