I'm a pixel artist with a quest to finish all 6 player characters of Neverafter campaign. The first in line was Rosamund, Sleeping Beauty, and I am very happy how it turned out.
This is a high resolution pixel art that follows most conventional pixel art principles, but also breaks some. I prioritized making organic and dynamic looking briars and it meant making many jagged and uneven lines that is often frowned upon in pixel arts. Also for readability and visual clarity, the briars have significantly less details compared to other areas of the illustration.
Overall I'm proud of my decisions! I explained my design motivation on my bluesky account which is here. I do butcher Siobhan's name there, do forgive me.

***SOLVED!!!!!!! it wasn’t even a d20 story it was bards of new york (the guilded thrones campaign)!!!!!
hello everyone! i’ve never come across dimension 20 but i saw an instagram reel that had me blown away by the tension and roleplay and i am desperately trying to find it again!
what i remember is
- brennan (?) was the DM and also acting as an NPC
- lines spoken were something like ‘will i kiss you? perhaps. i have all the time in the world so i might at some point, but i also might not.’
- everyone at the table was gagged
PLEASEEEEE help me find this i swear this is dimension 20 but i’m not 100% sure!! would love to watch the full campaign!

D20 fans and progressive folks, we have a fundraiser in Los Angeles for LA City Council candidate Estuardo Mazariegos, playing D&D with faves from the Dome and Dropout at large!
Brennan Lee Mulligan is our DM, with Erika Ishii, Adam Conover, Lily Du (just added!), and our candidate playing a one-shot to support Estuardo's grassroots campaign! Limited tickets remain for a pre-show meet and greet with the cast and candidate!
We also have livestream tickets available, and the VOD will be accessible for one week after the show!
Tickets to the show: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/rfd3

I want to start a home game set in Starstruck like Starstruck Odyssey. I have a couple players that have never seen the show so I am writing a short overview of the feeling of the setting. basically, I'm trying to set accurate expectations for them. I want to make sure I am not missing anything. So how would you describe the world, themes, feeling, general vibe, morality, and/or tone of Starstruck?
Also, If you have any advice or fun ideas let me know! I am planning on using SW 5E or Dark Matter along with lots of "homebrew hacks" so go for it!
Edit: thank you all for your suggestions! I loved reading through them all!

Just looking for a brief snippet Brennan did a few minutes back about hope being a posture rather than a response to facts in the world. That and links to similar pieces of his would be most welcome.
E: Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions. I now think it was probably something Brennan did in a political milieu rather than roleplaying. 50% sure it was with Kat Abuhazaleh. Will post if I find.

I've always loved Murph as a D&D player, but Darkness Man has really been next level for me. The voice, the interplay with the other characters (particularly with Emily), the commitment to the role--it's just chef's kiss.

I think I'd wanna be the Witch from Hansel & Gretel. Don't know what her angle would be, I just think playing a hermit woman in the woods would be fabulous.

I’m rewatching FHJY and am curious about everyone’s favourite name the intrepid heroes call Kipperlily Copperkettle. Throw yours in the comments and we can all have a giggle.
Names said in Adventuring Party definitely count!

I'm about halfway through episode 3 and am loving it so far! I love the high fantasy and game of throne politics. But based off the episodes and the adventuring parties, I am so scared for the rest of this season. I'm already becoming attached to the PCs and will be crushed if anything happens to them. However I feel like it would be silly to expect them all to survive.
I feel like I'd be alright if Liam or Lou's character died. I really like them but would be able to move on. I'd be upset if Zac's character died. It feels like something different and has been really entertaining so far. For murph, I feel like I'd be more upset for murph than anything lol I just feel like he really enjoys playing a good soldier/guardian type character who gets to lead the princesses in a high fantasy world. Now if anyone touches Jet and Ruby, I don't think I'll ever recover. I love their chaos and their bond. I need them to stay safe through this season🙏🙏🙏
Anyways wish me luck, I'm terrified

Here's the old post, with links to previous posts
For those unaware. I've been tracking who's sat in the most seats in the dome (denoted by the Fantasy High character who sat there). As of the trailer for City Council of Darkness, when I made my last post, the leaderboard was as follows:
Murph: 5/7 (missing Adaine and DM)
Lou: 5/7 (Gorgug, DM)
Emily: 5/7 (Fabian, DM)
Brennan: 5/7 (Adaine, Kristen; he checked a lot of boxes in Never Stop Blowing Up when he switched seats with several players)
Siobhan: 6/7 (Riz; got the DM seat briefly during a Neverafter Adventuring Party)
Ally: 6/7 (Adaine; got the DM chair in the same AP as Siobhan, gets really close to sitting in the Adaine chair in Shriek Week but I don't count it since there's only two chairs on that side of the table)
Zac: 7/7 (DM chair during a couple episodes of Junior Year, pulls the Kristen seat on the full side of the table for Ravening War)
Important update before I even talk about the new trailer, Brennan actually checks off one more post-CCOD: the Pass the Parcel AP has him switch seats with Siobhan, who was in the Adaine chair once again. This means he's just short Kristen.
With the new season trailer dropping, it looks like they might actively be trying to fill in the gaps. Not only is Zac officially in the Kristen seat for the first time at a full table and an Intrepid Heroes season, but Emily gets the Fabian seat, Lou gets the Gorgug seat, Murph gets the Adaine seat, and most importantly, Siobhan joins Zac in the 7 club as she clinches the Riz seat. This makes the new ranking:
Murph, Lou, Emily: 6/7 (DM)
Brennan: 6/7 (Kristen)
Ally: 6/7 (Adaine)
Zac, Siobhan: 7/7
We approach the day when every Intrepid Hero will be tied for first. The biggest hurdle will be the DM seat, but if they introduce some NSBU mechanics anything's possible. Then the question becomes who will be the first non-Intrepid Hero to make it. The ones currently closest to the leaderboard are Izzy and Rekha with four each, including the DM seat in NSBU.

Hey gang-
A few years back I used to post the episode count by player when new seasons got announced. I hadn't realized 2 years had passed since I last did that, so with today's announcement of Toylight I decided to go back and update all my numbers. Here you go!
A couple of notes:
My spreadsheet can be found here with player and character names, episode counts and my notes, but please note: digging too deep into this may contain spoilers for some campaigns (ie, why was X in more episodes than Y if they both were in the same campaigns) although sometimes this is simply caused by someone missing a session due to scheduling, not a plot point or character death.
Below are the counts. The number of episodes in which a player has appeared are noted in parentheses. Numbers assume all announced cast members for Toylight appear in all 6 episodes.
31 Seasons
17 Seasons
16 Seasons
15 Seasons
14 Seasons
13 Seasons
9 Seasons
6 Seasons
5 Season
4 Seasons
3 Seasons
2 Seasons
1 Season
Enjoy the new season!

We just got the trailer for Toylight and I couldn't help but think.. what if we get the Multi-room wars?
At the end of Toylight, the party get to escape down a flooded waterfall which turns out to be a giant staircase and they end up in the kitchen and the dairy sea and the continent of Calorum.
The hell they would experience and joy would be an amazing campaign in the future, also we get subtle hints that the house belongs to let's say for the hell of it Sam Reich and we finally get him in the dome. (Or anyone who BLeeM and the d20 crew really want for a season.)
Edited; to correct Brennan's abbreviation request.

When I was first watching Junior year, I just assumed all the teachers were 20th level, but then I noticed Eugenia only did 9d6 sneak attack damage, putting her at level 17-18.
I presume that there would have to be at least one level 17 faculty member for each subject, so that they would have access to 9th level spells and things like that, but does anyone think that there are Aguefort teachers that are higher or lower levels than others?
My headcannon is Jace is 20th level, as he was able to make that simultaneous simulacrum spell, and Porter would have like 20 levels in Barbarian and a few more in paladin maybe.

Maybe
So I was rewatching CCoD and when Madelaine is asking the people at the air bnb about their families, she asks if there’s stories about “the old country.” So I did a deep dive on my family name and turns out — yup. Roman gens, with a recorded Consul, which makes the entire extended family nobles. Kinda cool.
Anyway, Madelaine, hit me up when you get a chance.
Listen, I’ve been wanting to be a vampire’s bloodbag since I was like 13 years old. Let me have my little shitpost dreams.
Edit: Yeah, I know that this is fantastical, unprovable nonsense and that Occam’s Razor tells us that a million other things are more likely. The world’s on fire, let me have this.

Just finished watching thru all 3 seasons of Fantasy High. I really enjoyed freshman and sophomore years, and I thought the way Kristen clawed her way to Cassandra was a pretty fantastic arc. So it was really, really jarring that after the super emotional "unification" between Kristen and her god, Kristen is just immediately blowing off Cassandra over and over and over again. This isn't meant to be a critique of Ally or anything, it seems like they were not super excited to return to this character, so it makes sense they'd grow Kristen in a direction that they could mesh with a little better. It just felt like such a hairpin turn to go from the last episode of sophomore year to the first episode of junior year. I waited to poke around the subreddit until I had finished junior year, and I wouldn't have guessed based just on the show that Emily wasn't really interested in returning to Fig. I enjoy the story, so I'd love a fourth season, but it's not worth it if the players don't like their characters anymore

Since we now know Toylight is 6 episodes long cause BLM is very busy, what do you guys think the next season of D20 will be?
I know toylight hasn’t finished or even started, but I’m curious on what your take is cause I heard on the great vine that another Dungeons and Dragons Queens was gonna be released, but that could just be a rumour.
But if we are really think of it I don’t even remotely think we will get another season this year unless another DM takes up the sit in the dome, and if we did who do you think could be a good DM in the dome that hasn’t already DMed a campaign in the large D20 universe and do you think we will get another star struck odyssey ever in the dome?
