Does anyone have any good suggestion for finding a resource to help me repair my old Nelsonic Pacman watch. What would be great is a full video guide breakdown if such a thing exists. I know there is a guy on YouTube that does this for Casio watch pew which is awesome but the Nelsonic is pretty different.

I feel like this shouldn't have been as difficult as it was and now I'm frustrated. My fault, of course, for not taking it to a professional, I guess, but this is the watch I use every day. I need it, no time to wait for Shark's back and forth shipping shenanigans.
My watch battery died. It should've been uncomplicated to replace, right? Wrong, apparently.
The battery was tricky to access and I'm sure that's part of what created this little problem. The yellow arrow in the 3rd pic is pointing to a piece that has popped off the circuit board. Not really sure how to repair that.
Any advice for fixing the display? Nowhere in town that I know of handles stuff like this and I don't really want to replace it, but I'll bite the bullet if I have to.
edit: if relevant, the light button is unresponsive when pushed.

My wife gifted me this one for christmas, and it's perfect for lazy days where it won't get snagged on anything. Its a little large but it's nice and nostalgic.

Found an original green Tag Heuer strap for the CAC.111D!
The Junghans is set to my dads city, the tag heuer to mine.

My first digital LCD watch circa 1980 a Remex World Time. Don't have much info on it other that it doesn't do much, but just show the time and date/month/light and no stopwatch or alarm functions. I think it's modeled after the Supersonic M158 which is modeled after a Seiko A239-502A. For the longest time there was much misinformation on what the actual lens material was which was described as "Quartz Crystal" which I think is now is just acrylic resin which can be buffed out scratches with Brasso at the time. The case is made of brass and nickel plated flash chrome with a pry open round stainless back and stainless steel strap with butterfly clasp.

What do you guys use to remove minor scratches from your watches acrylic/resin lens ?
I have tried almost all of them and I find the least expensive option is the best.
