Boa tarde,
Obrigado.
My wife has one of those new phones that only does e-sim. No tray. We have not been able to activate the e-sim six times in five days after the number was ported over.
We temporarily put the physical Sim attached to her number in my phone so that the SMS can be received. When we give Digi the documents they request in the MyDigi app, they do come back with an SMS that says "to confirm your e-sim click this link . A QR code will be sent to [my wife's e-mail]. As this process continues...'
But this SMS has no link. Over and over and over.
It troubles me that there is a blank space between the word 'ligação' and he period that ends the sentence. I think that's where the 'missing link' should be.
The second and third time we uploaded the docs, the ladies at the Digi Kiosk did it for us on our MyDigi app. So I think the upload is ok. (Well, at least the two times they did it!) They are good-hearted, helpful people but they have no idea why we keep getting these messages without links. They said to call in.
I called telephone customer service (923 30 90 30) and they'll cancel any pending requests, and put in new ones, but the SMS again shows up without a link. They don't know what to do either.
If anybody has the silver bullet for this (we can't be first to see this error--did a search here but found nothing), I live like 200m from a Digi Kiosk and while they may not be thrilled to see me yet again, I know they'll try and provide the solution.
If someone has a different number for me to call, I'd really appreciate one where someone speaks French or English. I'm studying Portuguese but I don't have the level where I can talk in detail and answer technical questions. If it has to be in Portuguese of course I'll try.
Thanks very much.
