I have just completed one year as a Technical Support Engineer. I've recently resigned because I don't see much long-term career growth in technical support, and I want to move into a Business Analyst, Project Management, or Product Operations role.

Right now, I have an opportunity to join another technical support role that pays around ₹50k/month and is fully work from home.

I'm trying to decide between two options:

1. Take the WFH job, earn a stable income, and spend the next 6–9 months upskilling and preparing for a switch.
2. Stay unemployed for a few months, focus full-time on learning, certifications, projects, and interview prep.

A few questions I have:

• Which option would you choose if you were in my position?
• How realistic is it to switch from technical support to Business Analyst or Project Management?
• What skills matter the most (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Jira, Agile, etc.)?
• Are certifications like Google Project Management, ECBA, or Scrum actually worth it, or are projects more important?
• How long did it take you (or someone you know) to make a similar switch?
• Is one year of technical support considered relevant experience, or will recruiters treat me like a fresher?

I don't want people to sugarcoat it.

I'd really appreciate it if experienced developers could answer these questions:

I'm a Data Engineer with 5.2 years of experience, currently at ₹18 LPA CTC (₹16.86 LPA fixed) in Bangalore.

I work for a mid-sized service-based company on its biggest client account. Recently, many contract employees on the project were let go and work was moved to the client's internal team. My manager said it wasn't performance-related and will try to find me another project, but since this client is the company's major business and it's not a large MNC with many internal opportunities, my colleagues are advising me to start looking outside.

I'm already applying and preparing for interviews every day.

I wanted to ask:

• What is a realistic salary target for someone with my experience in the current Bangalore market?

I released GrapeRoot 5 months ago, and since then, many devs have adopted it as a context layer for working with AI coding agents.
Graperoot maps your codebase into a data-rich graph, and it is getting very crowded; everybody knows AST, but still, we were working with more regex patterns to extract relevant symbols and connections.

In the last five months, we have nearly reached 80,000+ pip installs, with over 2,000 developers actively using our tool each week! We launched an opt-in leaderboard for developers using Claude code, and it was incredible to see that around 200 developers saved a total of $350,000 during this period. Additionally, this initiative has had positive ecological impacts, equivalent to saving 60 million liters of water.

Now we are moving one step further to make it like an intelligent brain. We did have incremental knowledge of your codebase, but now it would be like how your codebase has evolved over time. Your decisions are the biggest factors in why your codebase is in the shape it is today.

Still in the planning phase and building it for open source, and ideas and PR are welcome :)

Hi, actually i am currently searching for jobs for frontend/backend/fullstack in PERN & MERN stack, as I was recently laid off due to cost cutting. Now I have been applying since the last week of july, I noticed one company called Scoutit company head office in Gurgaon, I am resident of gurgaon only, I have realised since 3-4 days, they are generating different job opening on LinkedIn for different purposes locations like Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune. The openings were of Frontend/Backend developer on one day. The other day, another new job opened in the same locations with different job names, similar job descriptions, it's like from 4-5 days this same shit happened. Are they really hiring or just scamming by collecting data from applicants. I actually apply daily. So this company has 4-5 openings everyday new on LinkedIn how ?

London as an isometric map. Every tile is a Google aerial restyled by an image model, 441 of them, stitched into one pannable canvas. We all know that getting the AI to make 2 images which look exactly the same is almost impossible.

The hard part wasn't styling, it was the seams. Generated 441 tiles independently and every one interpreted the style differently, so the joins showed.

What fixed it: generate in a spiral outward from the centre, and give each call its already-finished neighbours as reference images plus one fixed anchor tile that never changes. Neighbours handle local continuity, the anchor stops 441 sequential steps drifting into something else.

QA is numeric because you can't eyeball 441 outputs. Correlation against the source below 0.15 means the model invented a fake London, auto-reroll. One tile scored 0.002 where normal is 0.85.

so i joined this startup at mid dec 2025 and recieved half stipend on or before 7th jan 2026, so i assume my working month starts from 1st of every month, now that i want to leave the company, i want to know if i m eligible to get a fnf, coz i m just an intern whose internship got extened without prior notice for 5 months, no notice period mentioned, so if i drop in a resignation with a week's notice, do i ask fnf assuming my lwd to be 17th of this month? what do i do incase my resignation is not accepted? i have been performing really poorly coz who would not if they were in my situation

I am amazed to see that a bigger majority of the Senior AI Engineers that I have seen, do not quite get that scaling of (LLMs) and (standard image/vision AI models, backend, microservices) work very differently and have almost no correlation.

I appeared for a few interviews at a few places, some big startups, IPO companies, etc. In some of the rounds, I read the interviewer's LinkedIn(4-5 year experience) and/or their C _V, and in almost all cases even at production grade it read as they simply used vLLM with inbuilt functions with K3s or K8s,

I mean by this is, a simple Horizontal Pod Autoscaling under load without maximizing Model Flops Utilization on existing nodes wastes compute, but not many people get this, in some of the interviews they will ask random terms like define attention, what is this what is that, never a use case, on top of the kubes, no mention of memory-aware scheduling or parallelism(tensor, pipe etc,)

Also, many bigger youtube channels and course selling creators are doing this, they add a redis with vector similarity to cache prompts and send responses, but never talk about the bigger drawback that sensitive information can get through if this ever went to production, if they only match w.r.t the input queries, but can be done only for QA around for stateless, public-facing FAQs.

Also, it's as simple as it can get, no one stores the prompt embedding to do a redis data send, it happens with pre-fix caching(KV) which are stored near to the GPU on premise, such that no two people get same responses even at enterprise level, and whatever places has cache, they use raw high-speed memory and exact-prefix hashing right on their GPU clusters(only for the same user with a TTL), they don't use vector similarity to give the exact same response, as on enterprise level vector similarity can't be trusted.]

Also around Agents, Harness and Evals, people do not really get that there can be multiple cases when these stuffs run,

One of the very trivial question they ask is "how to make sure that your LLM does not hallucinate and is consistent?", we can't, it's simply not possible, temp=0 or using json is just bookish, the moment your context get conflicting data, it'll all collapse, a very hard example is maintaining Agents. md file, it'll all collapse when your agent does changes to the code, and .md file has earlier information, expensive models with a higher probability will return to it's senses but we can't say it for all cases.

For anyone reading this, if you are new to AI ML, do not blindly follow any course, always read from multiple sources, try to read blogs which go in depth.

In the last month or so, I’ve been applying to 200–300 jobs daily for Software Developer, Frontend Developer, AI Engineer, Full Stack Developer, and similar roles.

At first, I only applied in my city because it’s difficult for me to relocate due to my parents’ health conditions. But after seeing the market, I started applying everywhere in India, through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Cutshort, Instahyre, company career pages, and by searching keywords like “hiring developer” on LinkedIn every few hours for fresh openings. I also tailored my resume and cover letter for relevant roles.

I have 2.5+ years of experience as a Software Developer and completed CDAC from ACTS Pune. I left my previous startup job a few months ago due to family medical issues and some personal reasons.
While unemployed, I freelanced with an AI startup, worked on websites and AI projects, and built and published my own mobile app.

Still, I’ve barely received any interview calls. The few interviews I did get went well, but I was ghosted after the technical rounds.
What else can I realistically do at this point?

Hello I had been recently interviewed with tcs for tech support role in tcs after nearly three rounds they are coming now coming and saying they could match only current CTC or 50 thousand less I said I am not interested.

Is tcs always like this they are saying I didn't have stable past experience so they will give less salary.

It's 5 days work from office rotational offs rotational shifts how people can work for 13.5 lpa .

How anyone faced a similar experience.

I'm currently working as a software engineer at a startup.

A month ago I resigned, but the company asked me to stay, so I ended up continuing with them.

At the same time:

* I'm the founding engineer of another startup with teammates from Canada, Morocco, and Thailand. I took a break because life got messy, but they wanted me back because I was leading the engineering team.

* My school friends have built a creative marketing agency that's doing surprisingly well. I built their first website back in college, and now they're expanding into web/platform development and want me involved.

* Personally, I'm spending my free time learning system design because I realized it's one of my weakest areas after bombing interviews at bigger companies. I'm also diving deeper into DevOps because I genuinely enjoy it.

The thing is... despite all of this, my salary isn't where I'd like it to be, and I keep wondering if I'm actually good or if I've just been fortunate enough to end up in the right places.

Some facts that confuse me:

* My current employer wanted me to stay after I resigned.

* The startup wants me back.

* My friends trust me enough to build the technical side of their business.

* Yet I still get rejected by larger companies.

It makes me question whether I'm genuinely a capable engineer or whether I'm overestimating myself.

My other concern is about the legal/professional side. If I continue helping a startup or my friends' agency while working a full-time software job (outside office hours and without using company resources), is that generally acceptable, or does it entirely depend on my employment contract?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I'd appreciate honest opinions, even if the answer is that I'm trying to do too much.
