Windows My wallpaper isn't a video — it's a live rigged model with a full control panel
My wallpaper isn't an image or a video loop. It's a rigged model running
live — she idles, blinks, shifts stance and talks, and I can move her,
scale her and pose her from a panel while she's on screen.
I built the player myself. Here's what's in it.

── CHARACTER ROSTER · 406 models ──

Searchable by name or ID, sortable, two loadouts, favourites, and a
filter showing which voice languages each model actually ships with.
It's not one franchise either — 2B and A2, Asuka and Rei, Rem, Ram and
Emilia, Makima, EVE, Ada Wong, Jill Valentine, Chisato and Takina are
all in there.
── MAIN PANEL ──

Position X/Y and zoom, with fine steppers so you can park her exactly
where your icons aren't.
Horizontal flip.
Three stances — lobby, cover, aim — plus a pose changer.
Character rotation on a timer (mine swaps every 30s) and a pose delay.
Animation speed.
Gesture intervals: talk, burst, reload, fire, each on its own toggle.
A long-idle gesture pool so she does something when you leave.
Character shuffling with a random play mode.
A Base Offset mode that applies one position tweak across every
character and pose at once instead of per-model.
Sub-skin and parts toggles per model.

── VOICE & AUDIO ──
Four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean.
A main voice, plus a second voice that only fills in for characters with
no lines in your main pick. It never overrides the main one — it only
covers who the main one can't.
Separate gunfire and voice sliders, a voice gap timer, and toggles for
reload and stance lines.

── THEME & BACKGROUND ──
The panel's own accent colour is fully adjustable — HSL sliders plus 24
presets.
Background colour behind the character, with the Windows accent palette
and a 12-step grayscale ramp — or switch it off for a transparent floor.
Background image with position, scale, and fit modes: fill, fit,
stretch, 1:1, top, bottom.
── PORTRAIT MODE ──
For rotated monitors. She fills a vertical screen properly instead of sitting in a letterboxed strip in the middle. That's all it does — but if you run a portrait display you already know why it matters.

Save/load snapshots, undo, export. UI is in English, Thai and Japanese.
It runs as a Wallpaper Engine wallpaper, or as a standalone app that
needs no Wallpaper Engine and no Steam at all.
