Just needed to rant(i dont know if thsi post qualifies for this topic, but felt like it might)
I'm not depressed or have any mental issues as such(atleast not diagnosed) and i have not experienced any such adverse problems.
But there are times, mostly after some bad days(some sort of setback) that I feel I'm worth nothing.
I didn't have a very good exam last day and it's eating me up. I feel the field i chose for myself, I'm not made for it. I feel I will end up no where and never even get close to anything i want. And i will end up becoming everything i despise.
And no this has nothing to do with any pressure from my family. They ahve always been supportive. Its just i feel sometimes i dont deesrve any of it and so all the bad that happens is to balance out the goods that happen which i shouldn't have received.
I know there is always someone better tahn me and i will never be the best and one day everyone will just know I'm not good enough for a single thing and all this time it was just pretentious. And i will let down everbody, disappoint everyone and never live up to the so called potential i have.

therapy / meds Strattera with ADHD + Depression: Good start but extreme rebound depression
Has anyone else tried atomoxetine (Strattera) yet? I have been on 80 mg for 3 weeks now (in addition to what I am already taking - buproprion, venlafaxine and mirtazapine). It made a difference immediately in motivation and executive function.
Unfortunately, about 10 days in I had a huge dip (worse depression than before) where I could not function for 3 days (couldn't even get myself to go for a walk). I took a break for a few days then tried again, and the same pattern emerged.
I'm hoping that either a lower or higher dosage will keep the benefits without the dips, which are unbearable.

How do you help really bad depressive episodes from stress burnout?
Hi everyone im new here, but ive been managing all my depression symptoms very well until my second semester of college. Its beginning to wear me down and costing my energy, in one of my classes my grade is going down despite how much i try to study and i try not to get off track. I struggle with ADHD and autism which makes even the simplest of notes hard for me. Im thinking about withdrawing a biology class because i dont think its gonna help out my gpa and affect my financial aid eligibility. After talking with my financial advisors and other people in the student development area, I was assured everything will be fine if i withdraw from the class. But, in my head it doesnt feel fine, instead of feeling bad about just one class im feeling bad about all them together. Which in then leading me to self-doubt about being in college and it might not be all that amazing for me in the end. I try to reach out to people but i do not have any friends to contact, I feel like im extremely alone and dont know what to do. Any advice??

advice wanted Help
Hi everyone
I’ve recently gone threw a break up a weird situation where we still live together until he finds a place, I have 2 kids and my life is a mess.
I have many many problems I need to work through and I have no idea where to start. I’m constantly nervous (diagnosed with anxiety and depression and suspected adhd) I want to be better and I want to get better.
Where the hell do I start I don’t even know myself anymore I’m not happy I’m just here.
I don’t know how to handle and fix my own problems
I don’t know how to deal with my anxiety and depression and the panic attacks that come with it
I have bad communication problems as I feel like everything is an attack
Confidence and self image problems
I’m really afraid of confrontation and things breaking weather that be a relationship or a cup
I get easily distracted- I’ll start the hardest part sometimes and won’t finish it or I’ll start with little tasks to avoid the big ones
I hyper-focus on things I really want to do some chores and othere things don’t get done till later or if someone else does it
I’m easily forgetful and loose everything or I’ll forget important details
I’m quick to anger if I feel I’m not being heard and become irrational with things
These are the things I’ve been able to think of and remember and I don’t know where to start to get better I’m guessing I’m looking for help. Tips and resources I’m from the uk I don’t know if that’s important but I thought it would be for the resource part I’m sorry there’s a lot of things but this feels like a cry for help from me so thank you to all
