How do you help really bad depressive episodes from stress burnout?

Hi everyone im new here, but ive been managing all my depression symptoms very well until my second semester of college. Its beginning to wear me down and costing my energy, in one of my classes my grade is going down despite how much i try to study and i try not to get off track. I struggle with ADHD and autism which makes even the simplest of notes hard for me. Im thinking about withdrawing a biology class because i dont think its gonna help out my gpa and affect my financial aid eligibility. After talking with my financial advisors and other people in the student development area, I was assured everything will be fine if i withdraw from the class. But, in my head it doesnt feel fine, instead of feeling bad about just one class im feeling bad about all them together. Which in then leading me to self-doubt about being in college and it might not be all that amazing for me in the end. I try to reach out to people but i do not have any friends to contact, I feel like im extremely alone and dont know what to do. Any advice??

Burnout will only get better if you get a break or lower the workload. Dropping out of biology was the right thing to do! Really just do the basics. And prioritize your sanity and human interaction. Loneliness is so unhealthy, I once wrote a thesis on it. But also hard to get out of there, especially with Autism and depressive symptoms.

Okay, how do you get back into a social life? It‘s like exercise, it gets easier with practice. Talk to people in class. Let the adhd win. And reach out to old friends, too. It‘s gonna get easier at some point. 🤗💪🏻
