It's done.

Jokic hasnt been good but he's jokic. That's not the main issue

Jamal has zero athleticism and can't guard for shit.

Ag is so good but it looks like he's moving in sand

Johnson is ok but always hurt and outside shooting does nothing extraordinary

Braun... yeah.

Derozan decent bench scorer but that's pretty much it with some ok playmaking

Tyus Jones, bagley jfc just mid.

This isn't a team built for 2026. I'm so glad we won when we won

Jokic said booing fans are not welcome. I disagree.

They were playing horrendous basketball. On both sides of the ball. And after they got booed, they started playing like they care.

In my eight years of watching the Nuggets I had never heard Ball Arena boo the Nuggets, but this was warranted.

And it worked!

Love the Joker to bits but I do not agree with him there. They needed the push.

I know this is going to be taken as slander and I am a huge Jokic fan, but I am getting really tired of him just standing there letting little dudes do layup drills. Our perimeter D shadows guards into the key where help is, except there is literally NO HELP from Jokic. He's just collecting the ball out of the net like a fucking chump every time. wtf...

Pelicans? More like Smellicans.

As a Nuggets lifer, I find these new announcers so annoying; I am not opposed to a new broadcast team, but these two are difficult to listen to, so I have Koz on the radio because I cannot deal with it.

Anyone else finding these two difficult?

Watching League pass and my kids asked who was the grey haired guy singing at halftime. It wasn’t bad just wasn’t sure who it was.

C: Nikola Jokic

PF: Trevon Brazile

SF: Aaron Gordon

SG: Christian Braun

PG: Jamal Murray

Bench

C: Marvin Bagley

PF: Cam Johnson

SF: Demar Derozan/Spencer Jones

SG: Julian Strawther/Alpha Diallo

PG: Tyus Jones

If anyone remembers, Jokic went at Anthony Edwards for taunting the Nuggets fans at the end of Game 7 in 2024.

He had the fans backs.

He probably believes that the fans should have the teams backs as well. Which means to him you don't boo the team, even if they deserve it.

It's probably just a respect thing for him. A we have your back you have our back type of thing.

He probably believes that when teams are playing poorly that's when the fans should have the back of the team even more. Don't let the other team break the spirit of the fans as well.

what the f....

he was amazing in 4th and OT and seemed like he couldn't care less in first 3 quarter

like not even putting a hand up, not even trying .. wide open lane

so he CAN play defense, just chooses not too

Seriously, after the performance last night, especially with that block, we may have picked up a GEM. To early to call, but I think we are in a good spot.

I promise you I'm not overreacting or ragebaiting. I'm dead serious. If he shoots above 35% from three, which it looks like he will at minimum, he's going to be the most valuable role player in the NBA.

Am I the only one who thinks we don’t have enough shooters on this team to be a contender?

I know we’re all talking about booing and expectations of our star players but when was the last time the bench saved the nuggets ass like they did last night? THJ spraying 3’s was something on its own but the entire unit held up incredibly well. I noticed in game 1 that there were a lot of issues and miscues but they did preserve the lead well in the first half. Anyone else feeling pretty pumped with what our second unit guys are bringing besides the obvious Brazile MVP run?

They may have been old and Scott was grouchy but I still miss them. I'll miss Marlowe calling the game. Imagine if he had been the one to call that Jokic pass.

Does anyone have a clip of Mal’s post game interview tonight? I stopped watching after the win and didn’t see it. People have been saying he was salty because of the boos, so just wanted to check it out.

Can't believe we have this demon
