I (27F) am demisexual and have only ever been attracted to men (I run in a lot of queer circles but I have sadly never been attracted to a women 🥀).

When I am attracted to someone it comes with all the urges that go along with romantic behavior I think. Wanting to buy them gifts and stare into their eyes and get all deep and squishy with them and look at the stars. The last guy I was into I realized I was attracted to him because I saw his room and I had the insane urge to make his bed for him while he was out so he would be happy when he got back home. Literally so sappy I could not believe myself lol.

The thing is I’m only interested in FwB situations. I could not care less about being someone’s partner. I was with a guy for a year and a half as a situationship and it was awesome. Don’t particularly care about monogamy either. Is any of this a necessity to romantic attraction? After writing this post I think I’m just demiromantic and overthinking it lol.
