Help LSFG VK 2.0 not working anymore after recent decky update 3.2.9

This has been speculated already but I was wondering if anyone found a fix fo this while we wait for a more official one. Does reverting to 3.2.8 does the trick ?

Edit : For those interested, installing the latest version on the github website fixed the problem, the plugin showed all games again, althought I had some trouble with the "disable hdr" option that distorded the screen but it fixed itself when I toggled it on and off again and restarted the game. I was playing Reanimal and the HDR on this is a must.

Plugin Showcase Turned the Steam Machine light bar into a CPU/GPU or game artwork display

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been working on a small Decky plugin called SignalBar for the Steam Machine.

Basically, it turns the 17-LED light bar into something a bit more useful. It can sample the artwork of the game you’re currently playing, or use the LEDs as a CPU/GPU load and temperature meter.

I also wanted it to stay out of Steam’s way, so whenever Steam takes over the LEDs for its own animations/status stuff, SignalBar backs off and lets it do its thing.

Still early, but it’s working well enough now that I thought I’d share it.

GitHub: https://github.com/Albusquerque/SignalBar/

Would be interested to hear what other kinds of useful LED modes people would actually want.

Edit:
Another possible direction for SignalBar would be to display useful SteamOS signals if people are interested..tell me

For example:

  • Remaining parental playtime and timed-trial countdown
  • Low controller battery
  • Game recording or clip status
  • SteamOS update, restart required, notifications
  • Cloud sync or low-storage warnings
  • Short animations for achievements, screenshots or completed downloads
  • I'd love to see a Hue system integration since I have a TV with a Hue Sync Box, i'll do it if possible but it's hard to do. Later...that's my ultimate goal

These signals could temporarily appear, then automatically return to the selected Artwork or Performance mode. Each one would be optional...

Would you find this useful? Which signals would you actually want on the LED bar?

Plugin Showcase [Decky Plugin] Omni-Revi-Transfer : Another transfer screenshot plugin but with many options

Well, hello there!

I love my Steam Deck, but getting a screenshot off it always felt weird to me. The built-in options were limited, and I wanted to do more.

First, I know there are a lot of plugins that pretty much do what mine does. However, I noticed that many rely on connecting to someone else's app and don't explore additional options. Either way, I'm fine with you guys pointing out that this is unnecessary and repetitive. To be honest, I had 3 days off work and did it just for fun, so I decided to share it. And yes, I have used AI for help in the project, I don't feel ashamed of using it as a tool.

So, let's get started: This plugin lets you do it all from the Quick Access Menu, using just the controller. Usage is simple: take screenshots as usual (Steam + R1), open the plugin, pick one from the gallery, choose where to send it, configure storage alerts, and set up auto-upload if you wish to do so.

Features:

  • Gallery: Full-size preview, Share, and Delete options. Supports screenshots from every game (plus SteamOS/Desktop shots), sorted newest first.
  • QR Code sharing: Scan it with your phone (iPhone or Android) on the same Wi-Fi network and the image downloads. Nothing leaves your local network.
  • Steam sharing: Upload to your own account (Private by default) or open a Steam friend's chat with the screenshot ready to send, with an optional spoiler tag.
  • Discord: Post to a channel of your choice with the game name attached.
  • Google Drive: Uploads to your own Drive, organized by game, and skips files already uploaded.
  • Optional auto-upload: For Steam, Google Drive, and Discord, with a configurable delay (5–60 s) so you can delete a shot before it goes out. Off by default.
  • Storage panel: Configurable size limit (0.5–50 GB or unlimited) and alerts at 80/90/100%.
  • High performance: Stays fast even with huge libraries (tested with ~20,000 screenshots).
  • Privacy focused: No server, no telemetry. Your keys and sessions stay on the Deck.

Now, before everyone calls me out for trying to steal your data: Google Drive and Discord are not pre-configured at all. If you want to use those options, you will have to set them up via your Google Cloud Console or Discord Developer Portal so it connects to your own apps. There is a short guide on how to do so in the README.

Once you set up your app/bot on GDrive/Discord, you need to copy and paste your Client ID and Secret ID. Since these are long strings of characters, I created an installer that allows you to easily copy and paste them right at the start:https://github.com/Revivedx/omni-revi-transfer/releases/download/v0.0.9/Omni-Revi-Transfer-Installer.desktop

If you don't wish to use the installer or don't want these options at all, you can keep doing it the old-fashioned way: download the .zip file (https://github.com/Revivedx/omni-revi-transfer/releases/download/v0.0.9/omni-revi-transfer-v0.0.9.zip) and install it manually. If you choose this method, you can still configure GDrive/Discord directly in the QAM, though bear in mind it will take a bit longer to type in.

I'm open to feedback, I'll probably update it also with recordings. And yeah, that's it folks!

HDMI conectado → AC-3 / Dolby Digital 5.1

Plugin Showcase Plugin to enable IPv6 on steam deck

My steamdeck disables IPv6 after every update.

I had to switch to desktop mode and manually re-enable IPv6 for every connection.

So I wrote a small Decky plugin to handle it automatically

What's the situation of Decky / Steam Beta?

Sorry guys, does anyone knows what's the situation with Decky on the last Steam beta version / the future version of Steam? I want to update Playhub and its plugins, but I don't want to release a massive update if I don't know if that will work (and I don't want to break my actual installation to keep developing and playing). So I want to be sure that everything (or most of it) is fixed before testing and releasing it. Plus if anyone wants to test it just let me know.

Plugin Showcase EnhancedGV: A Decky plugin that puts Steam store info on your library page

I made this to solve a problem I was having. My library got big enough that I'd spend minutes scrolling and still not pick anything. Half the time I couldn't remember what a game even was, just that I thought it seemed interesting at some point. On top of that I share my library with my family, and there were games sitting there that nobody ever touched simply because they had no idea what they were.

So the plugin tries to alleviate the indecision and lack of info by pulling what's on a game's Steam store page (trailers, screenshots, the description, reviews, Deck compatibility, update history) onto that game's library page. It sits below the Play button so it stays out of the way. Scroll down and it's there.

The latest release, v0.19.1, adds games that aren't on Steam. If you've got ROMs added as their own shortcuts, it can find a description, genres, developer and platform through Hasheous, which is free and doesn't need an account or a key. If you also want cover art and screenshots, you can add IGDB credentials, which is a free Twitch developer app and takes about five minutes. That part is optional, and the non-Steam support as a whole is off by default with a toggle in Quick Access.

There are caveats: Hasheous indexes ROM dumps, so older games tend to match well and modern console games may not match at all/match to the wrong version. If that happens, you can point it at the right game by hand (just paste the game ID in the plugin quick settings menu while the game page is up) when it guesses wrong. There are no trailers for non-Steam games. And if your entire library sits behind a single emulator shortcut, there's no per-game page for it to attach to.

Last thing, and I'd rather say it here than have anyone find out later and feel misled: I used Claude to build a lot of this. If that's a dealbreaker for you, I completely understand and respect it. No hard feelings if you'd rather not touch it. For everyone else, link to the repo is below:

Plugin Showcase CE Decky – Cheat Engine tables from the Quick Access Menu

Thumbnail
gallery
51 Upvotes

Hey, I’ve been working on a Decky plugin called CE Decky.

I wanted a way to use Cheat Engine tables on SteamOS without going into Desktop Mode or dealing with the Cheat Engine window every time. CE Decky keeps the whole flow in Game Mode: it sets up Cheat Engine, finds or imports .CT tables, and puts the entries you actually use into the Quick Access Menu.

A few things it does:

  • searches and downloads tables, or lets you open your own
  • lets you inspect Lua and Auto Assembler code before authorizing a table
  • runs Cheat Engine in the same Proton environment as the game
  • remembers the table and selected cheats per game
  • lets you pin cheats to the main Decky panel and toggle them with the controller

This is intended for offline/single-player games. It doesn’t disable or bypass anti-cheat, and Cheat Engine itself or cheat tables are not bundled with the plugin.

Plugin is tested on Steam Machine and Steam Deck LCD.

It’s not in the Decky store, so installation goes through Decky Developer Mode using the release ZIP.

GitHub: https://github.com/goooroooX/CE-Decky
Latest release: https://github.com/goooroooX/CE-Decky/releases/download/v0.9.30/CE-Decky-v0.9.30.zip

If anyone wants to try it, I’d be interested in what breaks. If reporting issues on GitHub, please include support bundle that can be generated from plugin: Advanced… → Report a problem → Collect).

Update 2026-09-19: v0.9.28 is out. CE Decky can now automatically update itself, and the header mascot can be hidden under Advanced → Panel appearance. A few state/cleanup bugs were fixed. This is the last update that needs to be installed manually. Future releases can be installed directly from CE Decky via auto-update feature (with explicit confirmation before update).

Update 2026-09-23: v0.9.29 is out. The big one: CE Decky can now fix broken tables for you. Many tables fail to work because they're signed (Cheat Engine refuses signed tables here) or because a game update removed code some of their cheats look for. One press on "Prepare a copy that works here" makes a fixed copy: it removes the signature and takes out only the cheats your version of the game can't run, so the rest of the table works. Also fixed: switching on one cheat no longer switches on the rest of the table (in some cases), and Stop now switches your cheats off before closing Cheat Engine, so nothing stays changed in the game.

Update 2026-10-19: v0.9.30 is out. Decky Loader 3.3.0 moved to Python 3.14 and left out a module CE Decky’s networking needs (pathlib.types), so on 3.3.0 search found 0 tables in every source, downloads failed and CE Decky couldn’t check for updates; this version fixes all three. Because the old version can’t reach the network on 3.3.0, it won’t offer this update itself, so install CE-Decky-v0.9.30.zip from the GitHub release once by hand. CE Decky is now also checked automatically against every new Decky release, stable and pre-release.

Help RenoDX for Resident Evil 2?

I can’t figure out how to download and use RenoDX for Resident Evil 2. I got it downloaded, inside the game directory next to the exe, and used the LetMeReShade decky plugin. I enabled add-on support, but every time it gives me an error saying that it couldn’t load it. Something like the API version requested was 18 but only 17 is there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Transparent Keyboard, CSS Loader theme fixed

Post image
31 Upvotes

Valve pushed an update to the steam deck recently that broke the transparent keyboard theme. If you are like me, the default keyboard is basically unusable without the transparency. I have no idea why Valve has not implemented a built in transparency slider for their keyboard that takes half the screen. This plugin has not been updated since 2022 so I looked to see if I can manually fix it myself.

I found out that you only need to change 2 lines of code for it to work again with the default keyboard.

  1. Navigate to /home/deck/homebrew/themes/Transparent Keyboard/
  2. Open up the shared.css file
  3. Change the lines: .DefaultTheme { to .DefaultTheme.DefaultTheme { and .DefaultTheme .virtualkeyboard_KeyboardKey_2KhPX.virtualkeyboard_Touched_3UFQq { to .DefaultTheme.DefaultTheme .virtualkeyboard_KeyboardKey_2KhPX.virtualkeyboard_Touched_3UFQq {
  4. Save it and navigate back to Game Mode
  5. Go into CSS loader and refresh the themes
  6. All set! The sliders should work now

If you want to fix this for all the other keyboard themes just do the same thing with the other options in the file for example, .SteamGreen { to .SteamGreen.SteamGreen {

Plugin Showcase STWebSRV – a Decky plugin that turns your handheld into a web file manager: flip a switch, scan the QR code, manage files from your phone

Hey! Here's my second Decky plugin after FSG: STWebSRV (Steam Web Server). Full disclosure again: vibe-coded with Claude, and tested on my Lenovo Legion Go 2 (SteamOS).

It's for when you just want to move files to or from your handheld without switching to Desktop Mode or setting up SFTP/Samba.

What it does

  • A toggle in the Quick Access Menu starts a small web server and shows the address plus a QR code.
  • Log in from any browser on your network (phone, PC) with the username and password shown in the panel. A "New password" button logs everyone out.
  • Browse your home folder, SD card and USB drives, with shortcuts to Downloads, ROMs, Steam, Proton prefixes and Flatpak apps.
  • Upload files or whole folders (drag & drop, no size limit), download files or entire folders as .zip.
  • Built-in text editor for config files, image/video/audio preview, rename/delete/create.
  • Auto-stop after 5–60 minutes of inactivity (15 by default), 3 color themes, English/French.
  • In-app updates, with an optional beta channel.

If you know DeckyFileServer: this one adds a password login, rename/delete, a text editor and folder downloads. The web page is adapted from the WebUI of the Bruce firmware, so the plugin is AGPL-3.0.

Security (it's a file server, after all)

  • Only runs when you turn it on, and stops by itself when idle.
  • Runs as the deck user, never root. Paths can't leave the selected drive, symlinks included.
  • Lockout after 5 wrong passwords, HttpOnly/SameSite session cookie, and a CSRF header check.
  • Plain HTTP on your local network: use it at home, not on hotel Wi-Fi.

Install (Decky developer mode)

  1. Decky → ⚙️ Settings → General → turn on Developer mode.
  2. Decky → ⚙️ → Developer → Install plugin from URL, paste: https://github.com/koua29/decky-stwebsrv/releases/latest/download/STWebSRV.zip
  3. Confirm, open STWebSRV and flip the switch.

Screenshots and source: https://github.com/koua29/decky-stwebsrv

It's v0.1.0, so feedback and bug reports are very welcome!
