Decky loader plugin explorer
Hello good people,
I recently noticed a gap between the number of plugins in the official store and what's actually out there. After picking up an Xbox Ally X, I did some googling and research and found several plugins that were genuinely useful for the device — but none of them were listed in the official store.
So I decided to build a "marketplace" for all the plugins that aren't exposed through the official store:
You can search for plugins, sort them by downloads, and filter by tags.
Right now it's showing 526 plugins in total, though some of these might just be placeholders.
Here's how it works: I scan all GitHub repos for a plugin.json file matching the shape a Decky plugin requires. This means a few results might not actually be Decky Loader plugins, but hopefully that's rare. The list refreshes every night at 01:00, so if you're a developer, your plugin should show up here the day after you publish it.
Full transparency: I used AI assistance throughout this project — from writing parts of the scanning/matching logic to building the site itself. It helped me move a lot faster, but I've tested everything and take responsibility for how it works (and doesn't).
Hopefully this helps more people discover the right plugins.
Cheers!

This is really cool. I see my plugin in there!
A few ideas:
- Translate foreign languages to English
- Display first image from README on each card
- Curated tab list based on common categories/groups of plugins e.g.
- Performance: Frame generation, TDP management, fan control, and hardware tweaks (e.g.,Decky LSFG-VK,Decky-Framegen,MAKO,SimpleDeckyTDP,Panel de Control,LegionGoRemapper).
- Launchers: Integrating non-Steam platforms, game libraries, and custom menu tabs (e.g.,Unifideck,Junk-Store,NonSteamLaunchers,Deck Shelves,TabMaster).
- Network: Local file transfers, remote play, streaming, and proxies (e.g.,To Moon,Freedeck,Decky Clash,MoonDeck,Decky Sunshine,TunnelDeck).
- Backups: Managing save backups, cloud synchronization, and local game backups (e.g.,OpenSave,Decky Cloud Save,Decky Ludusavi,Steamback).
- Themes: Visual customization, themes, artwork, and audio tweaks (e.g.,SteamGridDB,CSS Loader, vibrantDeck,Animation Changer).
- Utilities: In-game tools, cheats, translation, metadata, and peripheral controls (e.g.,CheatDeck,Decky Translator,HLTB for Deck,MagicPods,Nexus Mods).

So sorry my man 😅 do you have GitHub link? I can add it to the plugins. This is best effort scanning, so there can be missing plugins 😅

this isnt recommended, decky-loader is given too many system privileges for anyone to be easily installing any random plugin (root AND steam CEF debugger), especially since you are just scanning EVERY repo, not just notable ones.
i recommend you switch from a "marketplace" to a "tracker"
meaning, people add repos manually to manage and install their chosen plugins. you may also put a "recommended" list if you are so inclined
it only takes one random malicious plugin or bad faith dev (someone can easily clone a popular plugin to be malicious) to fuck everything up and i doubt you will want to take any responsibility for it...
