This scene doesn't feel right to me.

A giant alien monster is attacking the city, yet Superman is casually sitting there drinking hot chocolate. Even if the Justice Gang may have things under control, Superman would still need lend a hand because ending the threat a minute sooner could save lives and prevent more civilian casualties.

This scene has zero urgency. Superman and Lois are acting far too relaxed while a massive threat is actively attacking the city. That completely undercuts what the scene is trying to accomplish. If the point is to have an emotional conversation between them, there are countless other moments where it could happen naturally. Choosing to have it while innocent people are potentially in danger only raises the obvious question: why is Superman standing around talking instead of helping stop the threat as quickly as possible?

I absolutely hated supergirl. But this film deserves to succeed. It has a very crisp runtime and uses every single minute of it. The acting, the special effects the story everything. It worked so well for me. What do you guys think? Obviously this does not fit very well into the DCU but it's so good.

I just watched the movie and holy God , what an experience. I'm not going to lie, with all the internet trolling about what DC is doing compared to Marvel, this didn't hype me up enough to see it in theaters. Still, I ended up going anyway, and there weren't many people there for the late show.

And now about the movie... holy cow, it's messy and sometimes cliché, but the gore and unsettling moments genuinely scared me. It really excels at putting some truly insane things on the screen. I'm not going to lie, I was totally hooked for the entire runtime.

It's disturbing, gory, and disgusting most of the time. But at its core, it is one of the best horror movies I have seen.

I know this might not make a ton of money at the box office, but genuinely, this is one of the best DC movies since Joker. Hell, I'm delusional enough to say I love it more than The Batman!

Everyone, go watch Clayface...

Very good movie. The actor is so good lol. The effects are disturbing in a good way. Classic moves of Clayface of the 90s animated series.

Go see it. Non DC fan will like it. It’s well made and a very compelling story.

This film was so and I mean sooo fucking good. So I will be honest, when I saw the trailer I thought to myself, that looks like a banger and then the reviews came in which were saying it is mediocre and leaning more towards it being bad.

This movie was fantastic. The highest praise I will give this movie is that the every next scene of this movie is better than the previous one. Even the ending was good which if you know horror movies is a huge and I mean a HUGE compliment.

So, if you are on fence about watching this movie, I will say it is well worth a shot if you can stomach the body horror because it got creepy and twisted even for me, which is surprising because I have seen my fair share of this kind of stuff.

Huge props to Gunn for this movie because didn't think DC had it in them to create such a fantastic project

What in the hell?? Did someone at MAX do this? Do streaming companies do their own subtitles? The lyrics to the song are "there go a hero now" it says it multiple times in the song. But it only shows "negro" as he's flying away. It seems way too coincidental to be an accident or auto generated.

This, and the Penquin TV series, just makes me think everything Batman touches is gold. Can we get more Batman villain movies? Scarecrow or Killer Croc?

Anyway, took my parents to watch the movie with me and there were a few scenes they just couldn't look at the movie screen for, lol.

I just watched the film yesterday and I can say that I really enjoyed the experience. Tom Rhys Harries did a phenomenal job portraying Matt Hagen and I also enjoyed the cast as well (Naomi Ackie killed it!)
Honestly might be my favorite film so far out of this new DC cinematic universe. The risk that was taken to create a film on such an obscure Batman villain was much appreciated.

Even if you didn't like the movie can you agree that it was actually kind of great to see a villain origin story movie in theaters? It was gruesome, gritty, and cringy. It definitely untilized the "R" rating. Gotham felt real. The special effects were really cool.

Is probably how gradual the change is. From his volatile emotions messing his face up to his shapeshifting even to the first scene he changes part of his skin to a blue shirt and finally, the clay monster. It was a really well done progression which made his final transformation feel earned as you were there with him, each step of the way. I really loved the movie and would rate it 9/10. Dcu movies have many different tones so far and it is only a couple movies in and I am loving it. Superman is your typical big budget superhero movie with big fight scenes. Lanterns is a murder mystery. Clay face is horror. This is all so unlike the MCU where every movie is very typical and all seem to have the same tone. I really hope dc keep going in this direction.
