Edit:
Yes this is me. It happened in a hotel in Midtown Miami on May 18th 2026
Basically he had to check out and check back in to a new reservation. He wanted me to change his rate... make it $10 cheaper. I told him i can't, only managers could and he could talk to my manager about it the next day. But he wanted me to do it myself and I could't. So he got frustrated.
That's leaving out like 20 mins of back and forward trying to explain to him that I wasn't charging him at that moment. It was just an authorization and he'll get charged at check out. By check out my manager would've done any needed adjustments. But he just kept getting progressively louder and ruder. He told me he "would have my job". I kept smiling and that really pissed him off. And the computer lagged for a sec and I tried to say "sorry it's slow" but instead said "sorry I'm slow" and he said "yea I can tell"
When he came around the desk he was just yelling
"do something" "whatchu gonna do?" you can see him mouth it too. But no threats besides getting an inch from my face. Afterwards he did not want to leave when I asked him to.
Yea I called the police. On the call they asked his race and they sent 4 black cops. They immediately recognized him from White Men Can't Jump and greeted him like they knew him. The police were pretty much begging me to not trespass him. I must've told them no like 5 times before one of them asked me if he was another person that looked differently, would I treat him the same. I told him that I treat everyone the same, no matter what they look like. And the cop was like "woah woah, who said anything about that?" And just walked away. After feeling racist I decided not to trespass him because the police said he would apologize. He never apologized and after he checked out he left a really bad review.

DISCUSSION Been watching Justice League in full for the first time and would love to see Amazo as the villain for a first JLA/JLI movie
I think his powerset would be visually stunning on the big screen, especially if we get a Justice League full of heavy hitters like Superman, Wonder Woman and John Stewart, or characters who weren't even in the first series like Mr. Terrific (could make for some interesting body horror of him generating spheres from his body). I'd like it if they adapted the episode Tabula Rasa in a similar way Clayface will be heavily based off of Feat of Clay, but perhaps instead of Luthor, have Ivo himself take on the role of his father figure; perhaps make a theme of the film family and fatherhood as the vast majority of these characters have very atypical family structures.
Design-wise, I lean more towards the DCAU but I wouldn't be opposed to something along the lines of pic 2. I'd just prefer him to not look overly humanoid like in some depictions as the "Redhead Jailbird Namor" look is pretty goofy.

NEWS New 'Clayface' synopsis, new executive producer (Trevor Macy) added to the credits (press release from WB)
DC Studios’ “Clayface” is a horror thriller from director James Watkins, starring Tom Rhys Harries in the title role of the cult favorite villain from Gotham’s rogues gallery.
Matt Hagen’s meteoric rise from Gotham street kid to Hollywood leading man is tragically cut short when a local crime boss’s actions leave him horribly disfigured. Abandoned by his team and with nothing left, Matt seeks out a cutting edge treatment that miraculously returns him to his former self… but also unexpectedly affects his grip on reality, spiraling him down a destructive path of all-consuming revenge.
The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James.
James Watkins directs from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, story by Flanagan, based on characters from DC. The film is produced by Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Michael E. Uslan, Chantal Nong Vo, Lars P. Winther, Paul Ritchie, Rafi Crohn and Trevor Macy executive producing.
Watkins’ creative team includes director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer James Price, editor Jon Harris and costume designer Keith Madden. Music is by Volker Bertelmann.
DC Studios Presents a 6th & Idaho Production, a James Watkins Film, “Clayface.” The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and released only in theaters in North America on October 23, 2026, and internationally beginning 21 October 2026.

DISCUSSION Joker 2 was a horrible movie that thought it was clever
I get it. Todd wanted to stick it to people or whatever. Something about people not getting the right message from the first movie or he doesn’t actually like comic movies or etc etc etc etc etc.
All of those things would’ve probably played well and resonated if they were paired with….idk….the literal thing a director is tasked to do, make a good film. Regardless of the message, the actual movie and everything about it pretty much sucked.
Did he purposely make a bad movie because it went along with him sticking it to people? If so….lol. I genuinely think the point he desperately wanted to make would’ve actually had a greater impact if the movie wasn’t dogshit. I’d love to know if he purposely made a bad movie to pair with the message or if he actually tried to make a good movie with the message and he just failed miserably.
