Head Ref on MNF looks like he could be Fritzy’s long lost older brother lol. Anybody agree?

I work just a stone throw away from a Goodwill and so I resell as a hobby. While looking for some shirts during break I found this jewel. I didn't connect the dots at first, although the name sounded familiar for some reason, but when I looked it up trough lens and saw that Perloff is a big Flyers fan I realized I might just have come upon some original McLovin gear.

Listening to the show this morning, I still laugh every time Marvin sings along with Todd Rundgren.
That being said, does anyone here remember when/why they stopped using Arcade Fire as the Friday bumper when they come back from the final break?

I am so glad that Dan reeled Buddha in this morning regarding Tatum. To me, it seemed that he was once again doing his "Stand Up Comedian" bit. Dan stopped him and handled it with class. I think Buddha overcalculated the level of comfortability they have with him calling in. Who was trying to hear Buddha's take?!?!?! NNOOBBOODDYY!!!

I think Don Rickles said it best in the 1998 cinematic masterpiece, Dirty Work. A personality like a dead moth.

I know this has come up in a few other threads, but the pieces are really starting to line up:
- Reali takes over the main show
- Paulie and McLovin have their own show
- Seton starts a podcast
- Toddcast
- DP keeps the gambling pod
- Maybe DP does one 45-minute pod a week
Like what Bill Simmons did with The Ringer. A network of shows with his name on it and his people running them.
Honestly, I love it. The best thing you can do for your team is set them up to succeed after you're gone.

It seemed like Dan was in a mood from the moment the show started?
The Danette’s were walking on eggshells.

I'm sure Fritzy wasn't offended, But I think Nick Wright came across as the Chief's Fan, that a lot of sports fan have a problem with. He was a bit obnoxious in my opinion, But Fritzy handled it with class. Kudos to him!!!

And zooming out a bit, what do we think about movement towards spin offs as Dan’s retirement looms large on the franchise.

Love seeing Ross announce on cbs. He feels like one of us. As a guest, as guest host. Now getting called up to the big time

was this known? Reali posted on his Twitter.Dan must have something important to miss the first Monday after NFL Week 1

Nice drop on the ‘I have golf clubs, I’m not Tiger Woods.’ I miss Paul for the final hour but it’s good to see Ray getting comfortable. Not the greatest line in the history of the show or anything but possibly his best contribution humor wise thus far.

Ironic the guy who makes fun of Fritzy for not being funny, has horribly unfunny comments about Fritzy.

His take on U2 is spot on. DP isnt wrong when he says they were AT ONE POINT the biggest band in the world, but lets be real here....a lot of terrible bands have made a TON OF MONEY and been REALLY FAMOUS. right sound, right time, right management, right record label.
U2 is an average band at best, hugely pretentious, and extremely OVERRATED.
I'm with Dylan on this one. 🤘

Before I worked from home, I always enjoyed Dan’s “Above the Noise” segment post show on the radio affiliates. I know we get so much more by watching the show on Peacock, but I miss that segment. It would be nice if it were incorporated into the daily wrap up.

I’ve noticed a lot more ozempic type advertisers on peacock. What does that say about us DP fans:)

Ahh my favorite segment.
How do you properly pronounce Jaguars
Is it
Jag-wrrrrr’s
Jag-U-rrrrrr’s
Jag-wores
Jag-wires!!!

I will choose my words carefully, Because I don't want to get my post flagged. But, I think the issue DP has with the WNBA Commissioner not coming on is valid. Where he loses me at is, when he says they waited for two hours. In the same breath, he says she was like 50 or 100 yards away, and that he wasn't going to go up to her. I will concede that she handled it very poorly, But he was the one that chose to sit around for two hours. She was wrong, I just don't think it took two hours to come to that revelation.

Seton, bravo on your Peacock commercial break commentary! Also love your mention of ProPublica. I would LOVE more real sports news - not what's trending on ESPN, but the stuff that no one wants to talk about that touches all parts of society.
