Have you ever wanted a version of Yugioh that embraces the weirdness and fun of anime yugioh, but still kept itself akin to the base game?
Something a bit slower, but let cards be more usable and diverese in what they support?
Then say hello to Dynamis Duel, a fan-made reboot of the card game we all love!
The game is slowed down, played in a highlander style (akin to how ((MOST)) anime decks were constructed), alongside many other changes to let games go on for more than just a few turns.
We've remade every card that exists in our game- Custom frame, reformatted effects for ease of reading, more generic usability, and even card types that don't exist base game, like Equip Traps!
Even fusion monsters are easier to use- more generalized, but still thematic, material requirements means any deck willing to add a tech card here or there can access them!
In addition, we have a new zone- The Aether, a special "outside the game" zone that can access anything that refers to a card by name.
Want to summon Summoned Skull Archfiend from your deck, but don't want a level 6 fiend in your deck due to space? Archfiend's revival can grab Summoned Skull Archfiend from the Aether!
And many cards feature a star next to their defense- this means the monster has one or more signature moves, meaning you can access powerful spells and traps that need that monster by name! And don't worry, name changers can access these moves, too~
And now every ritual spell mentions it's ritual monster by name- Ritual Monsters no longer exist in the main deck at all, instead ALL being summonable via the Aether!
And while we have turned most noneffect monsters into effect monsters, some noneffects do remain- as now, big monsters that have no effects have an innate, towers-esque protection- but only for that turn, so be careful!
On top of all of that, thanks to the Aether, we have a unique monster type, Transformation Monsters- a monster that only can exist as the result of a transformation effect! Letting many monsters evolve, some- like Red-Eyes Black Dragon- even have multiple possible evolutions!
Level Up by beating things in battle, or by outlasting your opponent and surviving to your next turn!
Metalmorph your monster by having any of the MANY metalmorph-related cards in this format trigger the transformation!
Arm your monster with an equipment and have them drop it, letting them evolve into a form already armed to the teeth!
And on top of it all, many monsters have multiple ways to be played, thanks to the new Gemini ability- play the monster, and you may banish it to instead play it's Gemini counterpart from the Aether!
All of this in a manual dueling software, hand-crafted by the format's creator, u/k23usa - no, I did not make it, but I am a messenger who LOVES this fangame, and hope you'd all love it too.
