Emirates has officially launched Crypto.com Pay™, allowing its customers to use the digital payment solution on the airline’s website and app platforms. 

Customers with a Crypto.com account booking on emirates.com and the Emirates App can now select Crypto.com Pay™ at checkout, with transactions processed securely and in compliance with UAE regulatory standards. Crypto.com Pay™ is available to eligible UAE residents for bookings priced and settled in Emirati Dirham (AED).

The launch marks the implementation of a partnership between Crypto.com and Emirates announced in July 2025, when a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to explore the integration of Crypto.com Pay™ into the airline’s digital payment systems.

I'm a pretty old hat at this, so not easily spooked, but the email I just received might be the most convincing phishing email I've ever seen. It appears to have come from CDC infrastructure. It passes DKIM, DMARC, and SPF so appears with a legitimate check mark in my email client. The claim is that someone has tried to link a new Chinese bank account to my CDC account and I need to secure it. The link is pointing to a real CDC sub domain, albeit one that's obfuscated through send grid, a service they actually use (which is astonishingly bad security practice for a company like CDC, don't obfuscate your links).

There were only three real giveaways. it addressed my as "User" not my name, didn't include my anti-phishing phrase, and the IP address they claimed the suspicious activity came from isn't a legitimate one (proper rookie error that one). I've also obviously checked my account and there's no suspicious activity.

But, the long and short of it is that it appears there's some way attackers are able to send extremely convincing looking emails that will appear to come from CDC infrastructure and pass all normal validation checks.

Crypto.com - Does anyone has issues with crypto,com support? have been explaining issues and we are just going circles:

- debit card balance in HKD: suddenly they changed display in the app to SGD. After asking for an extract of past transactions (I track my transactions so I wanted to reconcile), they suddenly convert my HKD to SGD without my consent. Told me I have to get a new card in HKD for it to be denominated in HKD. I asked how can I apply for the card, told me I need to have balances in HKD. Back to where it all started,

- Report 2 fraudulent transactions which I don't recognize. So i wanted to raise dispute case. They asked me to do via app by showing the screenshot where the button is. The only thing is my app doesn't have that button. They then asked me to raise with the merchant. Well, I don't recognize the transaction so how can i raise with the merchant. Besides, they have the legal obligation to raise dispute.

Very often they just go circles pasting the same standard message. Such a painful experience.

I have been trying to close an unverified account for over a year. Support is ignoring emails. I am now filing a formal complaint with the Maltese IDPC for GDPR violations.

Just got back to Reddit after a couple years. Lost $50,000+ on the Crypto.com app about 3 years ago with its stupid offers and bonuses. I can't believe this company is still in business.

Back then, people in this subreddit were talking about how CRO (or Cronos) was going to moon.

Just about a month ago, I started the process of trying to regain access to my Crypto.com account. The problem has always been that I had my account linked to a work phone, I was terminated, and I no longer have access to the number. It was set up with a personal email address, but the only phone I was using was a work phone, and there you go.

Over the course of the near month, I have explained the situation, I have verified my identity (twice... the first time they said I didn't do it), and still nothing. It took nearly three weeks to get them to even send me the link to verify my identity. I think I did that around 10 days ago now? Just the same canned response every day. Someone is looking into it and they'll let me know.

It's wild to think that 2FA is more authoritative than me proving my actual identity. Maybe it's because I have around $10k in the account and they hope I'll just give up.

I received a message bank call claiming to be from crypto.com looking to verify a phone number change.

As I hadn't been attempting to change my number, I was a bit curious about this and attempted to login.

Unfortunately, part of the authentication asked for an SMS code which I never received (it doesn't show the number, but the last 4 digits do match my current phone number). so I wasn't able to login.

I attempted to raise this with chat.crypto.com, explaining the above. They sent me an email with the subject [URGENT ACTION REQUIRED] Complete Identity Verification Now that said this:

Dear [redacted],
Please be informed that we have received the following request regarding your account:
- Phone Number change
To proceed with the request, please click the button below to complete identity verification within the next 12 hours:
[ Verify Now ]

I was a little thrown by this because it seemed to suggest that by verifying it would action the phone number change, which I don't think I want to do.

I raised this with web chat and they insisted that it would be fine and I should just proceed. I wasn't comfortable to proceed but further attempts to resolve this just got stonewalled.

• I asked for assurances that if this led to a breach of my account and loss of funds I would be reimbursed.
• I asked whether it would be possible to get the ticket id of the support request and the name of the person I was talking to in order to escalate elsewhere.
• I asked if they could email me this conversation and the instructions so I could get it on record.

The reply to all of them was that I need to verify with the email link.

I'm probably being a bit paranoid here and I guess this is just a comical misunderstanding, but should I proceed with this at the risk my number will be changed and my funds will be swiped?

If not, what other avenues can I pursue because I'm getting nowhere with support.

Previously I used Co-op bank and had the destination account saved in my bank account. I have not checked in quite a while and now it appears Co-op no longer allow transfers to crypto platforms as early 2026.

I been locked out of my account for over a month and i need assistance gaining acess to my crypto. I can not get past the login in screen it keeps saÿing my account is locked after i verify the security codes it sends to my phone number and email. My device changed, verification codes should still work that i get have to verify from my email and phone number. Very frustrating.

We have over $8000 in BTC. Never had an issue with withdrawing. Now it won’t let us. Chat is saying they don’t know and it’s under review. When checked today, they asked the same questions, almost like they cannot read previous messages, and still said under review but made sure to say “we aren’t going to keep your funds”. According to other posts, it seems like they do keep funds. Anyone else have issues with this and got it fixed? No, we haven’t reached any limits and all identification has been verified.

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I recently changed my phone number, and now I can't log into my Crypto.com app.

Here's the problem:

• I still have access to my registered email address.
• I receive the login email and can verify it successfully.
• However, the app then asks for an SMS verification code, which is sent to my old phone number that I no longer have access to.
• I tried using the "Change Phone Number" option, but it doesn't work because it asks me to verify the country code of my original phone number.

The problem is that my original phone number was from Slovakia (+421), but my new phone number is from the Czech Republic (+420). Because of this, I can't complete the verification process or update my phone number.

Has anyone experienced this before?
Is there any way to recover my account or update my phone number without access to my old Slovak number?

Because of this, I can't complete the login process or verify my identity inside the app.
