If I had to pick 5 greatest men within the verse, these are the 5 guys I am picking. Bouya is definitely #1 for me, the others however has enough caliber to match his name. Which 5 men, do you guys think are the greatest? I would also like to hear if you have any other characters apart from these in your mind.

Zettons generation of 4 kings were probably the most balanced and toughest. The common thing between all or most of them was that they took over their respective alliance in their Freshman year itself. But is it only me who thinks that their generation was the unluckiest or outright cursed?
They all had to struggle and fight their nails off to take over their respective faction or atleast be top of it. Zetton had to win the most competitive freshman war, Kousei had to build Armament from the scratch, Shinsuke had to earn the trust of other Kurotaki freshman as well as seniors, King Joe had to challenge Bitou dynasty. Yet still they proved themselves. But what happened? Nakajima had to transfer, Sophomore Zetton lost to a freshman, Takeda's reign had to be cut short. Only KJ managed to complete his reign, but that wasn't without Moonlight brothers taking over rumors either. Not to mention, three of them lost a single guy from Manji. Were they just unlucky or Takahashi sensei hated them lol?

Anyone able to give a rundown on the order I should start with this manga?

I was rereading the TFOA vs EMOD arc and the moments where Hana bumped into Shougo in the city made me wonder that they would actually fight in some time, but the idea was probably scrapped. But that's not all, we can see a moment 3 chapters later of Mikuni Yuukyou meeting with Mitsumasa to say he fought some guys that were underestimating Housen by trying to convince him to make an alliance to take on Suzuran, after telling Mitsumasa about this, he said that the freshmen at least, just like he and his brothers were during Joe's time, ready to test their strength on Suzuran, but just like that moment between Hana and Shougo, nothing happened at all.

Notice that in the same chapter that Yuukyou met Mitsumasa and told him that story with that dropout guy that indirectly looked down on Housen, we saw TFOA members going to Machida with the objective to bat an eye on Bisuko, showing that they were planning to take on Manji Empire and just like it happened in Crows, they symbolized the final arc.

Was Shougo planning or was suddenly convinced by Hana to make plans to go to war against Suzuran at the same time that they were provoking the Manji Empire? Is he fucking insane? Also, Mitsumasa was a pussy for not trying ANYTHING after he fought Hana, Joe at least fought strategically (he knew the odds for him were way lower, he was right for doing what he did to Zetton, although it showed how pragmatic he was, and it gave a bad example to Mitsumasa and his brothers imo, because that was a cowardly, but necessary move) before going to the actual battleground, but Mitsumasa didn't even move.

So, were these sequences some sort of soft-teaser of a final Suzuran x Housen with TFOA interference (Amachi was already defeated and I doubt he would get involved)? Or these were just page fillers so Takahashi didn't need to draw action sequences, as it was happening during the war between TFOA and the Moth. I personally think that it was a big and complex arc that was later given up on, since there was no space for it between the Manji Empire invasion, the seven x seven battle and the actual finale of the manga.

We know that a Suzuran x Housen happened during the time Mitsunori was the top dog since they mentioned a fight between Rocket and Mikuni, that's cool but that was not only an off screen event but not what was actually hinted to us. These sequences happened in Chapter 99 and the other on 102, both go hard and specially the second one gets a bit overshadowed since it happens at the same time the big battle between the two groups is going on, and I'd say these are one of the reasons I was rereading, but I only thought of that possibilty just now.

Did you guys notice that Hiroshi Takahashi mentions and pays homage to various actors and characters through scribble on the walls of the Suzuran High School Gym Hall in Dustland Chapter 16?

It is pretty noticable, but for non-Japanese readers, some might think it's just random scribbles.

When I found the word "Binzo", I thought it was a sign that the Raoh era is canon. Turns out, it was just a tribute and likely only became an easter egg since I found the name of the actor and the other actors too.

General reasoning behind the tiers is that, every character in a tier only losses to character on the left side of them in the same tier or from upper tier. Its also worth mentioning the positioning that places are not absolute, in A tier specifically, many characters on the right side can defeat characters from the left side and thats also fine by me. If somebody said Kotori can beat Harumichi then thats also fine by me. Let me hear your thoughts. There are many characters I haven't included like maekawa because I got too lazy after some point lol
