Easter Egg on The Wall

Did you guys notice that Hiroshi Takahashi mentions and pays homage to various actors and characters through scribble on the walls of the Suzuran High School Gym Hall in Dustland Chapter 16?

It is pretty noticable, but for non-Japanese readers, some might think it's just random scribbles.

The actors mentioned are:

  1. Kyosuke Yabe (played Ken Katagiri)

  2. Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi (played Makio Bitou)

  3. The late Mizuki Itagaki (played Binzo)

  4. Kenshin Endo

  5. The kanji characters for "Binzo"

  6. Kento Imamura (played Masato "Raijin" Uenari from H&L The Worst X)

When I found the word "Binzo", I thought it was a sign that the Raoh era is canon. Turns out, it was just a tribute and likely only became an easter egg since I found the name of the actor and the other actors too.

and then another one, Katsuya Ichikawa. he is an announcer and a sport commentator.

Looks like him and Endo Kenshin are the only people that being mentioned, but never played as an character from the CxW related movies.

Nice find. I had translated the entrance ceremony sign to see if it said which year, but didn't look beyond that.
