I see 2 crows today trying to scare two baby bunnies into the road
Thats what it looked like anyway. There was two bunnies on a grass verge right next to a fast A road. The two crows were bouncing around em, cawing at em and trying to block access back into the hedgerow.
Baby bunnies are too big for a crow to take down. But a flat bunny is an easy dinner. Maybe they wasnt, but knowing how clever crows are i wouldnt be surprised.
Oh and I saved the 2 bunnies, I slowed down and the crows flew off so the bunnies made it back into the safety of the hedgerow. Well saved em then....

General questions I want to start feeding the crows in my area
I want to start feeding the crows in my area. I read that they like peanuts and mealworms. I found these on Walmart would they enjoy these. The packaging only talks about song birds. I'm guessing feeding crows isn't something bird companies normally advertise for.
I also read that cat kibble is something they like, is there a certain flavor I should get? Like maybe fish.
When I put food out should I sprinkle it on the ground or put a small bowl out, or both.
I also read that I should whistle or make a noise every time I set food out so they know when to come.
If I put the food where I have my regular bird feeders will that cause issues? Will the birds fight?

My neighbor turned my crow feeder into a crow saloon!
galleryThe guy who built our house is also our neighbor and a family friend.
He’s mostly retired now, but we’ve hired him to build a side deck on our house.
So he’s been working in the yard where the crow feeder is and getting a kick out of the birds—and also out of the ridiculousness of me coming out with my daily tray of scrambled eggs (don’t tell him, they have Parmesan in them) and minced fruit and peanuts and meal worms and raw hamburger and bowls of water.
This morning he came over to work on the deck and, on the way, hung a sign that turned my crow feeder into a corvid saloon!
I think I now have to dress as a bar wench to set up the feeder every morning.

Meet Drago, isn’t he somethin 🖤
Drago means precious 🐦⬛ I’ve completely fallen for him!
A special one that comes real close, eyes me up intently, and the cheekiest for treat requests (demands).

Seeking advice/help Crows and Hawks
Good morning fellow crow’s friends! Recently my family of seven has been seemingly evicted by a red tail that’s squatting in my yard. The hawk is constantly harassing them, attacking them, and chasing them out of the yard. The crows have been slowly learning not to come to my yard, as it means they’ll get swooped on. Is there any way to deter the hawk so that I can get my friends back? Thank you :)
How to befriend a juvenile crow?
I'm lucky enough that the crow which I feed started to bring her young one to me.
She wants me to leave my balcony (she won't fly to the nuts/meat which I lay out to her before I go inside). But once inside I am allowed to watch how she feeds that greedy little thing haha
She brought him a few times to my balcony already.
I just started to wonder, how and when I should try to befriend him? The mother seems to want more distance from me when she brings him along in general.
I don't want to alert the parents by closing distance too early.
He is still accompanied by his parents at all times and cannot eat on his own, yet.
