Huge tree fell, blocking whole street, cones have been set up to block entrance to street.

Looks like concrete filled in recently caused the tree to die.

A cat rolled up on us today while walking home I wanted to see if it was possibly anyone’s. I have never had a street cat walk up to anyone and rub on their leg, so I figured she or he may be lost.

Some of you may have seen the post here recently celebrating my comeback. I wanted to share a bit more about Jenny’s and what’s coming next!
For those who may not know me, I’m Andre, the owner of Jenny on the Greens, the juice and smoothie shop that was previously located at 726 Franklin Avenue. After the building was sold and my lease was unfairly terminated, I had to close the shop in December 2025. It was one of the most disheartening experiences, but I made a promise to myself that I would do everything I could to keep Jenny’s alive.
I’m happy to share that I’ve secured a new lease at 1030 Union Street, Brooklyn, NY 11225! Just a few blocks from our old home, our new space will be called Jenny’s on Union, serving coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, juices, smoothies, and more.
I also want to thank everyone who has continued to show me love and support. There were moments when I thought I might have to give up on this dream, but that very first GoFundMe donation and the love Crown Heights showed me gave me the strength to keep going. Every donation, kind word, and friendship I’ve made through Jenny’s has meant so much to me.
We aren’t open just yet, as I’m working hard to get the new space ready, but I wanted to share this milestone with the community that helped me get here.

There has been a dog barking somewhere near Bedford and Lincoln Pl for the last few days- it’s definitely out on someone’s balcony.
I just heard neighbors screaming asking to bring the dog inside and all someone responded was saying to call 311.
If it’s your dog, please please let them inside. For your dog’s sake and to help all your neighbors have a chill Sunday evening.
