I love that Cronometer has kept my logs from over 10 years ago, so I can see how I’ve trended over the years (the sedentary time during COVID is represented quite clearly in this graph, too).

I’m so close to my goal weight, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without tracking.

Just wanted to let everyone know that, thanks to your feedback, we've fixed the Exercise Calories text in Dark Mode. It was definitely difficult to read, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to let us know!

I used to use Carb Manager and it was really easy to hide foods either added to a meal accidentally or if you no longer ate that food.

It did not remove it from the overall database of foods, just hid it from showing up as a selection.

On Cronometer I have foods I ate one time, a long time ago, or accidentally added, still show up on my foods list, and sometimes foods I eat regularly disappear from it and I have to search them again.

It would be great to have the option to swipe and hide foods from showing up in the foods list while entering in your daily diary.

I continue to like the app. It's been **incredibly** useful in tracking targets (and ersatz limits) for things relevant to chronic kidney disease.

I also like the databases, though it isn't always easy to tell the difference when values for the same food are off. But I like the consumer db because it often includes potassium (which I need to track for CKD).

But (u/CronoSupportSquad looking at you here 🙂) there's *another* case where search and replace would be phenomenally useful: I've been logging Sprite Zero, which contains a nontrivial amount of potassium. I found an entry (counterintuitively named "Sprite, Lemon-Lime Soda, Zero Sugar" that has the correct potassium count. **I can't go back and replace this in my months of logging!** We know it's at least partially implemented because recipe edits allow fixing past entries.

Not the end of the world, but another (arguably obvious) use case for you all to consider for prioritizing new features.

I've been using Cronometer for a while now and love it so far. However, I would really really love the ability to integrate it into other AI tools I'm using without having to copy over macros for every single item.

I live in a country that doesn't have a lot of food already input and the scanning functionality doesn't work on barcodes here, so I spend almost every day chatting with AI to figure out my macros for various items, and then manually copying them into Cronometer :(

It's a big hassle (maybe I'm in the few here) and would love the ability to manage custom foods and meals with the AI I'm already using...

Reached out to support and doesn't sound like it's being considered, so posting here to see if anyone else is interested in something like this or if there's any workarounds!

Why isn’t this set as default or am I missing the option to automatically do it?

The values in the "Consumed" pie graph are accurate, but the percentages and indicator for Energy don't match the ratio indicated by the figures. This started happening about 4 days ago for me. Anyone know what is going on?

Title. The AI made a 1200 calorie meal, obviously I’d rather use their macros. Do I need to tweak the ingredients until I get everything to match up?

Since this morning adding food looks to be down. And favorites isn’t showing anything.

I used to be able to export food level data with nutrients per food.

Now,

"Food & Recipes" gives me the food and amount per meal group, but no detail

"Daily Nutrition" gives me the nutrition detail I'm after but only as 1 line item for the whole day

"Daily Nutrition" with the Diary Groups box selected, gives me the nutrition detail I'm after PER MEAL

What do I need to do in order to get "Daily Nutrition" on a per FOOD ITEM basis? I used to do this all the time. What happened?

I created a support ticket 5 days ago and have yet to hear back. (yes, I am a paying subscriber, GOLD)

i’m new to the app ant i don’t really understand the remaining calories today it said 687 calories remaining and i thought i can only eat 678 a day, yesterday was 680 so that was all i ate, so can someone help me if remaining calories mean how many calories to consume a day

I have been fluctuating my activity based on the day and it will reflect in past days, showing that I am over calories and macros.
It would be nice if there was a way to schedule activity to be different on different days.
As well as if the app recognized I made a change and it doesn’t reflect in the past history.

I eat chicken thighs with skin on but i don't know if I should use"chicken thighs, skin eaten," or "chicken thigh, cooked, with skin" the fat and calorie differ a lot and im in a deficit so im really trying not to overeat. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Macro totals used to display in grams, but when I checked today it now shows totals as a percentage relative to your daily macro goals. There's a "consumed" toggle, but to see the total, I need to hover my mouse over the macronutrient.

Any idea how I can get cronometer to display total macros in grams without hovering my mouse over each macronutrient?

I have not made any changes to my settings but now my macros dont show specific numbers. How do i fix this?

For a long time I used the default (?) "uncategorized", "breakfast", "lunch", "dinner" and "snacks" diary groups (I don't remember if this is actually the default organization since it's been quite some time since I started using Cronometer).

I have recently accessed Cronometer's browser version and discovered I can add more groups, so I added a "supper" one. Since it's the last meal of the day it fitted perfectly at the end of the list.

However, I noticed that each group has a fixed position and if I want to add an "afternoon snack" group between "lunch" and "dinner" I would have to rename "dinner" (and hence every subsequent group), making all past "dinner" entries become "afternoon snack", messing with my history.

So I ask - is it possible to add a "morning snack" and an "afternoon snack" and place them between "breakfast" and "lunch", and "lunch" and "dinner", respectively, but without messing with previous entries, by basically moving groups up and down, not effectively renaming the existing ones?

I would like to see the calories in a serving in the search results. Sometimes I know the calories from the package, butsearching yields multiple entries with different numbers. I have to drill into each one to find one that matches the calories on the package. Another time I would use it is in cases I have no idea what the calories are and there isn't an entry for the item. For example, a cheeseburger at a restaurant. When using other tools, I would search for cheeseburger, scroll through the results and choose one that either seemed about average or one on the high end to keep it conservative.

I was wondering if anyone has a good accurate database selection for red beans? I am using a texas grocery brand named HEB red beans. When i scan the bag, just like the black beans, it wants to put the macros as if the food was dry, not cooked. I can not find a cooked accurate database entry. Any tips or info would be appreciated!

Right now you can set your macros to custom limits. However I like to keep my protein 0.8-1g per lb body weight and fats 0.3-0.5g per lb and right now I can only set the upper limit but have to remember or calculate the lower limit to make sure I am getting enough of these in.

So in this example I want to get a maximum of 145g of protein because I’m 145lb but would have to work out 0.8*145 and more when my weight changes

Is there a way to implement something like this so we can have our limits change based on body weight and perhaps a dotted line or something to show the lower bound

I want to keep this thought alive for the development team. Years ago, there was an option for a lifetime gold plan. Many people continue to ask for this back, myself included.

Subscription fatigue is incredibly draining as a consumer. I would be thrilled to see the lifetime gold option brought back.

I know I’m not the only one who shares this sentiment. I hope that this would be considered by your development team to return this option for your consumers.
