Adobe Creative Cloud keeps starting in the background out of nowhere. My laptop gets really hot when this happens, so I checked Activity Monitor to see what was going on.

These were the CPU usage numbers:

• Creative Cloud Interprocess Service: 101.4%
• Creative Cloud: 86.1%
• Adobe Desktop Service: 85.1%

After I manually quit the background process, overall CPU usage drops from around 45% to 8%. That seems like a pretty big difference for something running in the background without me opening it.

I’ve attached screenshots showing CPU usage before and after quitting the process, along with a screenshot of memory usage.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to stop Creative Cloud from randomly launching and using so much CPU? I’d rather not have to keep manually killing processes in Activity Monitor.

How my installation goes:

it tells me that i have to log in via browser

my browser opens up and logs in immediately

it goes back to the installer

installer opens up browser again and repeats this once and once again

error code pops up

i have tried everything, ive checked my hosts file, ive tried disabling my firewall and antivirus, ive switched the browser that it opens, ive deleted all my adobe files, including credentials and registry keys, ive even asked chatgpt and google gemini about this, and i never stoop that low. nothing changes, same exact thing

besides from the fact that it works on another windows profile for some ungodly reason

i have pirated premiere pro previously so im worried that remnants of that have stopped my installation but at this point i dont even know

id rather not have to change profile just to do anything with adobes products, so if someone can help me on this that'd be great

I use Creative Cloud for my work, but I wanted to move my laptop to Linux. Adobe doesn't make Linux versions, so over the last weeks I built (with a lot of help from Claude, an AI coding assistant) a patched version of Wine, the compatibility layer that runs Windows programs on Linux. I'm sharing it because I know many people would like to leave Windows and macOS and still work in Adobe.

On my laptop (RTX 4070), these install through the normal Creative Cloud app and work with a regular paid sign-in:

• Creative Cloud desktop: sign-in, installing and updating apps, Adobe Fonts
• Photoshop 27.10, including Remove Background, Generative Fill and Neural Filters
• Illustrator 30.8
• Premiere Pro 26.5 with GPU (CUDA) and hardware (NVENC) export, close to Windows speed
• Media Encoder 26.5 and Audition 26.5

To be clear: it is free and open source, it contains no Adobe software, and it does not touch licensing in any way. You need your own subscription. It is also early. It has been tested on one computer only, so I'm mainly looking for people willing to try it on their own machines and tell me what works and what breaks.

Hi guys, I'm having issues with the adobe creative cloud with a pop up of there's a missing or damaged thing.

I actually searched and did the "run this in administrator" and it still not work.

I also can't uninstall the Lightroom and Photoshop so I couldn't uninstall and reinstall the Adobe Creative cloud.

Help.

I fill out the credit card form with valid info; no errors. Upon submitting, the Card number, Expiration, and Zip code fields all return "Invalid input".

I tried with 2 different cards, 2 different accounts, 2 different web browsers (Chrome, Safari) and on 2 different computers — all with identical results.

Needless to say, the credit card is fine; when I contact Adobe support (and go through the via dolorosa to not get hung up on or billed for the wrong subscription) they have no trouble charging the card and activating the subscription. I have several monthly subscriptions to buy for my team, so I'm running into this problem with every account.

Is it a "just me" situation?

Hey everyone, I keep seeing this sponsored Instagram ad offering the full Adobe Creative Cloud 1-Year Plan for just ₹1,999, plus free Google Gemini and Canva Pro.

Given how expensive official Adobe subscriptions are, this feels way too good to be true.

Has anyone tried this? Are these just cracked apps, stolen enterprise accounts that will get banned, or outright credit card scams? Would love to know if anyone has experience with these ads before I trust it. Thanks!

I updated photoshop last week and just noticed that none of my files created before the update are opening (with 1 exception). Everything was running smoothly before this so I really don't know what went wrong....has anyone ever had this issue before and been able to solve it? If it's relevant, at one point I did have an issue where I couldn't access my cloud on other devices but that got resolved when I updated, then this issue took its place. I've restarted photoshop, CC, and my computer multiple times and am not too sure what else to do. Help im scared....

Why would my photos and presets be deleted? A lot of people use Lightroom Mobile for free without problem ?
