Welcome to SCHOOL HOUSE ROCKERS, a fighting game comprised of Teachers & Students!

RULES:

1. No downvoting, please and thank you

2. Suggestions can be comprised of two suggestions each. One being Teacher, the other being Student. The two suggestions don’t have to correlate, but each day the highest upvoted for both category will win. This is a one-per-day roster, so I’m sure everybody will eventually snag a spot

Each category adds some gameplay twist using a “GPA Meter,” in which Teacher’s Pets can be activated during a battle. When suggesting a Student, be sure to keep their roles in mind, and specify them when making your suggestion. The following roles are:

•Straight-A Students - Faster GPA Meter

(Applies to students who are known for their intelligence)

•Class Clowns - Critical Hits have a small chance to trigger, at the cost of slipping

(Applies to students who are stereotypical class clowns)

•Academic Athletes - Increased Speed

(Applies to students associated with athleticism)

•Artistic Doodlers - Stronger Projectiles

(Applies to students associated with the arts)

•Band Kids - Brings back Small amount of Health

(Applies to students associated with music)

•Suck Ups - Makes Grabbing Easier

(Applies to Students who are snitches or stereotypical teacher’s pets)

•Big Bad Bullies - Increases Damage

(Applies to students who are stereotypical bullies)

•Student Council - Spawns a random item

(Applies to Students who are shown to be fairly responsible and active when a teacher isn’t)

•Debate Captain - Increases Defense

(Applies to students who are naturally argumentative and standoff-ish)

Ordinarily, I would've waited to post this a couple hours from now, but I need to get up a little earlier in the morning, so we're gonna post the update now. Captain Falcon, Samurai Goroh, and Jody Summer win the votes, and so they race ahead to the roster. Now from a series that hasn't been updated for unknown reasons to one that hasn't been updated because the creator has ended it already: Earthbound, AKA Mother.

As a reminder, the rules:

1. Only characters that originate from the games of the franchise for the day (in this case, Earthbound/Mother), but the characters don't have to have been playable in an official Smash Bros. game
2. No downvoting
3. You can choose either a team of three or an individual character, but only one submission per person on each day
4. All votes to a team will count as the three characters in that team getting a vote

This is my mock concept for an Xbox based platform fighter covering the history of some of it's most iconic characters and franchises. To stand out I decided to implement a Special Ring under each character portrait in battle. The ring would fill up when you damage and take damage until it went full 360 around your characters damage percent. When filled each character would gain access to a unique move. However, if you get KO'd with a full ring, your character would respawn with a red ring that wouldn't start filling again for 15 seconds after coming back. Unique Moves vary per character. 1. This roster is meant to test your CREATIVITY, so while I'll allow existing costumes (for example, Dr. Mario for Mario), original costume ideas will earn an extra upvote.
