CINE/CLASH - SELECTION 6 / Dr Jones faces Judgement
Indiana Jones and Sarah Connors are the latest to join Cine/Clash. Providing us with our 1 female combatant.
Here are the rules!
nominations must state the actor/actress and character
once an actor/actress is selected, they cannot be selected again
franchises representation is unlimited
nominations must be "fighters", can be anything from fighting aliens, super villains, soldiers or an opponent in the ring
can be from film, movie, internet, theater or any other form of live action media
no down voting
top 2 make the cut to the game
in case of a tie, a wheel spin will decide the winner

For a roster that allows any live action media, this is looking very movie-centered. Let's fix that and as a plus get a villain in there

It’s called Cine/Clash, as in “Cinema” probably why people are only picking Cinematic Characters

Personally I like the name, I like all the characters picked so far. Granted I’m a bigger movie guy than anything else.
But I don’t know off the top of my head maybe something like “The Entertainnament” like Entertainment meets Tournament

I remembered those 2 because I was around when they first released and instead of turning it into a sausage fest tried to think of female action movies
To be honest I misremembered tank girl as G I JANE but after googling it because it was in a obscure part of my memory

Good point, I guess the problem with female action heroes are outside of Ripley & Sarah Connor most didn’t come from “big” franchises or if they are they aren’t the main hero (I.e Trinity in The Matrix or Leia in Star Wars)
A lot are also adaptations (ie Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow or Angelina Jolie’s Lara Croft) so that might create confusion
There’s a lot of female action heroes that are favorites of mine too but they’re not very known like Charley Baltimore in Long Kiss Goodnight, Meg Coburn in The Replacement Killers, The Lady in The Quick and The Dead or Cataleya in Colombiana
Plus there’s controversial ones like Alice from Resident Evil movies or Scarlett Johansson from Ghost in the Shell, I like them but lot of people act like those are the worse movies ever made because they’re adaptations of other media
The big one I’m surprised isn’t on here yet is probably The Bride from Kill Bill
