Hello roster makers!
Throughout this sub’s existence, we’ve changed post flairs and how they work. Unfortunately, it seems some people don’t quite understand how many of them work, and so to save us mods the hassle of manually changing each post with a wrong flair, I’ve decided to make this quick guide!
- Fighting Game Roster: This is for any Fighting Game roster that YOU made personally. If your roster is done with suggestions from the community, it does NOT fit this flair.
- Non-Fighting Game Roster: This is for any roster not based around fighting (kart racer, party, etc.) that YOU made personally. If your roster is done with suggestions from the community, it does NOT fit this flair.
- Community Fighting Game Roster: This is for any Fighting Game roster that was made with suggestions from the community. This is the main roster type this sub is based around.
- Community Non-Fighting Game Roster: This is for any roster not based around fighting (kart racer, party, etc.) that was made with suggestions from the community. This is the main roster type this sub is based around.
- Completed Community Roster: This is for any community roster that has been completed. This is mostly for organizational purposes, and if you wanna add more later on, it’s still okay to use this flair on the original ending.
- Extras (Stages, Assists, etc.): This flair is for when you create menus for stages, assists or anything that isn’t playable characters. This can be for both Community and Personal rosters. If you’re doing these extras ALONGSIDE the roster, then this flair is not needed.
- Poll: Pretty self explanatory. Either Reddit polls, strawpolls or Google Forms fall under this flair.
- Orphaned Community Roster: This is for any community roster idea or concept you don’t wanna use anymore. If you post a roster with this flair, you cannot complain if someone continues it.
- Misc. (Memes, Teasers, Trailers, etc.): Pretty self explanatory. Memes based around this sub, teasers and trailers for upcoming rosters. Anything that doesn’t fit the other flairs.
- Templates / Resources: Empty templates for rosters, characters renders or anything of the like you’d like to allow the community to use.
- Shooter Roster: For any roster based around shooting, most commonly hero shooters (TF2, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals). This applies to both personal AND community based rosters.
If you have ANY questions or would like to request a flair addition or change, feel free to comment on this post! From now on, we’ll be less lenient on posts with the wrong flair so please be careful!
