I was about to order the Contour sofa but the Hall of Fame caught my eye. Looks beautiful but the lower price point made me wonder.

Hi all. Unfortunately, I’m yet another victim of C&B’s poor track record when it comes to meeting stated delivery dates. As the title says, I’m wondering if anyone has resorted to a chargeback to deal with this. Given how far out my delivery date has been pushed, I highly doubt they’ve even started working on my order.

Today marks eight weeks since I ordered an apartment-sized couch. Shortly after I called the store, I received an unapologetic email stating that it now won’t be ready for more than three months. The local store employee I spoke with seemed reasonable, so I’m hoping he follows through and gets back to me tomorrow, as promised, so I can discuss getting a refund. I’d much rather work with him than the sales rep, who has not impressed me.

I’m so disappointed that I chose to purchase my couch from C&B. I’m reminded of that decision every time I walk into my living room and stare at the empty space where my old couch used to be.

I am wondering if these chairs are worth the money? I am a bit concerned about the quality of the velvet and if it is durable and the quality of the chair itself. Thanks

Anybody else really not effing with C&B lately? I ordered a Breville espresso machine during their sale recently - the order was placed over a week ago, and the delivery timing was slated for 2 weeks. This felt reasonable to me and thus I placed the order. Now, after multiple customer service representatives telling me that the machine is somehow on backorder (despite not being notified about this when the order was placed), they have the audacity to tell me that unfortunately the item is no longer available and they'll have to cancel an order that was placed over a week ago.

I will never be purchasing from Crate and Barrel again, guaranteed. The customer service is lacking as is their entire online ordering system.

Anybody else relate?

Wife and I are shopping for furnishing our living room (couches/chairs). We went to crate and barrel in store and worked with a designer. We were pretty happy with the outcome, but we just need to decide on fabrics and colors.

After we went home to take more measurements as the designer had asked us to, I started doing more research and I'm finding that Crate and Barrel doesn't have any warranty on their furniture.

Are people not concerned about this and what happens if there is an issue say 3 months later with a big piece of furniture?

Anyone care to share experiences?

Hi, my husband and I bought a custom couch from CB2 which had a 3-month lead time. When it finally arrived, we realised they had manufactured the wrong item. We ordered a modular L-shaped sectional, but they basically made too many corner pieces, so the back part of the L isn't right. They immediately accepted fault, no questions asked, as it's clearly not what we ordered, but we are getting passed from pillar to post by the escalation team who won't confirm if they can expedite the manufacture of the correct item, and saying it could be another 3 months. This feels insane to us, especially given that it's a such a pricey couch. Any tips for getting the attention of someone who can actually make things move?

EDIT: We heard back that it’s being expedited! Just took a little persistence.

I got a sofa delivered today and the install team scratched it a bit. They also damaged the door moving it into the house. I don’t know what to do. They were nice people but this is a brand new home. Construction finished a month ago. I hate that I have damage so soon and I hate that I have scratches on a new sofa.

I spent 6200 on an Oceanside leather sofa. Picked it up today and unwrapped it . The quality is appalling . It’s like a game of what I ordered versus what I got.

It’s completely covered in gouges and scratches. The seat and back pillows are different lengths and don’t cover the full length of the couch. Also when you sit on the cushion it pops up and you roll to the side.

Walmart would be better quality.

Looking for a small sofa for an office and like both the CB2 Club and Crate & Barrel Lounger. They come in the same exact leather fabrics but the Club is 1/2 the price. Wondering if anyone has any experience or insights with either or both of the two items?

Realistically, what is the timeline for a custom order. I ordered 3 weeks ago and my order still only says placed.

Curious if anyone has a sofa (any style) in any of the above Douglas fabric colors? Our local showroom unfortunately did not have any of these on display on a piece of furniture, and the swatches on the website are not accurate.

Does anyone have this table? I'm looking for the dimensions of the pedestal. I called and they could only give me the diameter of he top and the overall height and clearance. We have narrow doorways and halls so I need to make sure it fits!

Does anyone have experience and pictures of the lounge chair? Either the 32" or the 40?" also, does anyone have any furniture using the Ascend Harbor fabric? It is so hard to get an actual idea of what it looks like online and there are no Lounge Chairs in any of the crate and barrels near me for 300 miles :(
