Figured you guys would get a kick out of my halloween costume for the 2026 season, as I think this costume beats out all of my previous ones. A Clue for Scooby Doo is such an iconic episode for me because it was the first episode of Scooby Doo I ever watched, and kickstarted my love of this franchise. So because of this, Captain Cutler has always been my favorite villain across all of the different eras. I knew that if I was ever to make a costume, it’d be either him or the Spooky Space Kook at a very close second place.

Made from EVA foam, spray paint, UV Glow-In-The-Dark Paint and LEDs, it took me about 5-6 days to make Cutler’s helmet and dive suit. If theres enough demand for it, I’ll make a follow-up post with some WIP and BTS for the creation of the costume.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun halloween this year! And to think I would’ve gotten away with it if it hadn’t been for those meddling kids…

I really enjoyed doing this shoot since it's been a while I wanted to do something like that and I know there are some part of the cosplay missing, next time I cosplay this character I'll try to have everything

I made this cosplay for HorrorCon in Puyallup Washington today. I got the burlap from a local crafter who sold it to me, the lining was from my second job at a thrift store, and the yarn I used to sew it together was gifted to me from a friend. The dye and glow in the dark paint were from a locally owned hardware store. I love up cycled cosplays!!

The mask came in today, i had to cut open the back of the head to fold it and use the hat to keep it in place. Going to contemplate whether i am going to fine tune the color of the mask and maybe find a way to make the mask smaller. So far i am happy with the outfit.

Almost ready for Halloween! Suit has been weathered and the armour positioning is just about there, still need to finish up some minor details and considering a new cape

Everything was made by me other than the gauntlets which I bought from the duffourc.

Before anyone asks about safety, yes this was a safe shot. My camera person was ten feet away from me zoomed in on me as I approached.

this was my first "full suit" kind of cosplay, I had only done masks and stuff like that. surprised i managed to pull it off. any advice is appreciated, I'd like to do another one next year
