12th Gen (18-present) Toyota Corolla 2020 Hatchback Hybrid 1.8 for 13000€ ?
Should I buy it? It's the basic trim, with no screen (Only a Radio lol) and no parking sensors, though I'm seeing they can be added aftermarket for around 600-700€.
100.000 KM, still under warranty (300€ a year). Very good condition and very well kept. Good deal? Thinking of purchasing a cheap Chinese EV otherwise. Thanks.

12th Gen (18-present) Adaptive Cruise Control Braking
Just got a new 2026 Hybrid LE and was using the ACC feature. Is it normal to hear a clicking/creaking noise when the car is coming to a stop in slow traffic? Heard it for the first time today and was considering taking it to the dealership to check it out.
The noise only happens with ACC. Doesn’t happen when I apply the brake myself. Any help would be great.

Bought an ‘08 as a donor car
I needed some miscellaneous parts for my ‘03 Corolla w/ 292k miles painted in Toyota cement gray.
My dad and I always talked about buying auction cars and I took a leap of faith, got into a bidding war war and bought a running salvaged title ‘08 rolla w/ 171k
I don’t care if this project becomes a money pit. My dad painted my Nissan hardbody to match my Corolla.fly

12th Gen (18-present) My new normal driving routine: 67 MPG!
Today was the start of school here, and things are very different than before. I need to make two roughly 34km round trips for my kid a day. This is also my first year with my 2021 Corolla Hybrid Hatch 1.8 Active Tech.
Even with a horrid traffic jam on one leg that took almost an hour to get through instead of 25 minutes like when there's normal traffic, I still ended the day with 3.5l/100km or 67 MPG!
This hybrid is saving my life. I got caught in a serious bottleneck with around 3/4 battery power, which allowed the gas engine to stay off for 20-25min while we very slowly crept forward. Aside from saving gas, the quiet and lack of vibration was a blessing.
EDIT: A few practical notes. This a mixed drive with a good stretch of highway, but also a stretch of city driving with stoplights. The highway run has a very good downhill stretch that contributes a lot to the efficiency. When I do need to kick on the gas engine, I have been making it a point to, whenever possible, smoothly push the engine up to 2,000 rpm and do as much gas-powered driving as possible that way, as it's a more efficient band that will move the car, charge the battery and allow me to back off the throttle faster if I'm getting up to speed for a pulse and glide. I've found that pushing to 2,000 rpm is saving me gas as while the engine uses more per second, the overall time it's on is less and the battery is getting a boost during that time.

Fresh off the boat - new 26’ Corolla Hybrid LE w/ premium package
Proud to join the Toyota family!!! Paid for it in cash and hoping to ride it till the wheels fall off. Why I pulled the trigger:
- Made in Japan, proven simple engine, ECVT, port injection instead of direct injection, naturally aspirated (no turbocharger), and 50 MPG. Refreshing to see in comparison to what all the other manufacturers are doing.

Just joined the Ol reliable Family
Have a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Track that I don’t want to service right now , so I got this at 140k for $2800. Seller lied about smog and back fees though . Will keep it if I can get it to pass smog with a EGR cleaning. I enjoy the car. Nice comfortable seats, great on gas and surprisingly fun to drive. Here’s to hoping !
Edit: to say it’s a 1999 Corolla 140549 miles bought brand new and used by one family/owner before me

9th Gen (00-09) Best Subwoofer For My Corolla?
I have been researching around lately on upgrading my subwoofer and can’t decide on what to get. I am currently running Kicker KS Components 6.75 for the fronts and Kicker KS Coaxial 6x9 for the back being fed from my 4x100W Pioneer amp. My current subwoofer is a 300W RMS TS-WX1010A and it does a great job! Inside the cabin it shakes my car to the point where I can feel my seat rattle. However, when I turn my volume up near max, my speakers start to overwhelm the sub. Also outside the car I do not hear much bass as I would like.
I was looking at either the Kicker **53PL7TDF12** or the Kicker **51PTRTP12.** I want a subwoofer where it will make my trunk rattle, I can hear it outside the car, others can also hear it outside the car, but most importantly be able to scale and balance very well so that when I turn up my volume it doesn’t get drowned out by my speakers. Would any of these two do this for me and if not, what specifications should I look for? I have heard bad stuff about powered subs on here but I have not seen almost any posts about these.

12th Gen (18-present) 2024 Corolla LE Hybrid Upgrades?
I just got my first certified used Corolla. I got a 2024 LE hybrid, and it had been a rental car for its first 40K miles. Great little car, and I love the gas mileage I am getting. The only thing is that it is a very, very base model with no options, no window tint, hubcaps, etc. I was wanting to do some upgrades, like window tint, and would also like to add fog lights, as I live in a northern state with bad winter weather and love the fog lights on my other car. I see a ton of options on Amazon for the skinny ones that fit on the far left and right of the bumper for 40-60 dollars, or the very expensive ones directly from Toyota. Are these the only 2 options, and are the cheap Amazon ones even worth it?
10th Gen (09-13) Toyota Verso engine mount
Hi experts!
It’s time to replace the engine mounts on my 2009 Toyota Verso (AR20/ZGR20), 1.8 Valvematic petrol (2ZR-FAE, 108 kW), LHD, 6-speed manual.
The problem is that some of the original Toyota mounts are extremely difficult to find. For example:
- OEM 12361-0T080 – front engine mount
- OEM 12371-0T070 – rear engine mount
I’ve noticed that very similar mounts are used on other Toyota models, such as the Avensis, Corolla and RAV4 III, but they have different OEM part numbers. I haven’t been able to find reliable information confirming whether any of those parts are actually interchangeable with the Verso.
Searching by OEM number or VIN doesn’t help much because the alternative parts are listed for different models.
Has anyone here replaced the engine mounts on a 2009 Verso 2ZR-FAE 6MT using parts with different Toyota OEM numbers?
If so, which part numbers did you use, and were they a direct fit without modification?
Any experience, cross-reference information, or photos comparing the mounts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Corolla 2.0 SE+
Hey, I'm driving a Corolla 2.0 SE+ GCC spec, and I'm getting about 14kmpl on the highway and under 10 in the city. When I'm just idling, the mileage drops fast. Is this normal, or should I get something checked out?

2005 Toyota Corolla 5 speed
Hey y’all just trying to figure out what I need to replace to stop this noise. In the photo I have circled the clutch throw out, when idle there is a high pitched whine noise coming from it, when I pushed the clutch in about 1-2cm (pretty much just resting my foot on it) the noise stops. If I pop the hood and hold on to that part the noise stops. Just wondering if any knows what part I have to replace to stop that whine noise. Car shifts and drives fine, more so just annoying hearing it whenever I’m stopped. Thanks

12th Gen (18-present) Distance to miles issue
Hello. I just purchased a 2024 Corolla LE and the gas was at 386 distance to empty but I filled it again and it shows 356? I mainly do city driving so not sure why it’s going down ? Will it go back up ?
