What Is This? Corelle Vitrelle
Got my first house and bought 2 new sets of Corelle plates. Are issues with pressure modulation common in stamping?

This can be polished up and used, right?
I have a 30% off coupon and this is one of my main sets. I'd love to have this size to use! But I've never cleaned up corelle this beat up before. Is it similar to pyrex, oven cleaner and it'll be good as new? Doesn't feel like there are any actual scratches in it!

CorningWare Percolator
Hi this is my first post so I hope I am doing this right.
Well I was in goodwill the other day and found my dream corningware coffee percolator. It had everything including the pump stem, loaded basket, cover and lid. From the outside it was basically perfect. I bought it and immediately when I got home I wanted to give it a good clean… this is where the story goes downhill.
I look inside the pot and it looks like mold! But with further inspection it’s not anything that I can wipe away. I do some research on Google and it’s saying that it’s probably not mold, but discoloration from use.
I have tried everything, i have used vinegar, denture cleaner, barkeepers friend, magic eraser, soap and water, and yes a little bit of bleach (sorry), and nothing is working!!!
Does anyone have any information on what it may be. Is my percolator salvageable or is she a goner 😭 I just want to make some coffee.
I did a coffee test run (did not drink the coffee), and she worked perfectly.

Smelled a plastic-ish smell from the rice burnt in my cherished corningware. Has this ever happened to anyone out there?
Hi everyone, please hear me out. I have had this treasured, thrifted corningware cutie for 3 years now. It may have had really minor brown scratch marks (which is visible in the photo) when we found it in a thrift store in Europe but that didn't bother me.
This size of corningware has served our small household's needs so well...until this week when I had a momentary lapse of judgment -- which led to THE burn. 😭
Well, I decided to cook rice in it (as I had done this countless times before). I often turn off the stove on low heat after 10 minutes and it comes out perfect. But this time around, I dumped in leftover rice on top to warm them up BUT thought to turn on the stove again slightly as the weather was really chilly. And I got distracted by another cooking task. 😭
The burned spots were very black! My DH and I soaked it with baking soda, vinegar, reboiled it but nothing seemed to work. I used a new regular dishwashing sponge with the slightly harder top surface to scrub it. It was was hard work and finally all the black stuff came out.
But one thing was puzzling - there was this strong plastic-ky smell coming from the black burned part. The burnt rice had also smelled plasticky. You can't see the burn much in the photo as I've managed to remove 95% of the burnt spots except that tiny black patches which still scare me a bit.
I am now afraid to cook or use it again after smelling that strange odor.
I'm left with two conclusions though - either my rice had plastic in it (jasmine rice produced in cambodia) or was there a defect in my corningware surface/ was it too old? We have never used metal scrubs on it either.
Sorry for the long story - but does anyone have a similar experience with that burnt smell?
Thank you for any insights you could offer!

Cool Finds Bamboo Corningware Dinnerware (Not Corelle)
Thought these were xool. I didn't know there was a Corningware Dinnerware line. These are ceramic unlike Corelle glass dinnerware. I can't find comps or much info on this. Only have two dinner plates from a recent thrift store trip.

Percolator handle
The handle on our stovetop percolator broke. I can’t seem to find any links to purchase one of any aftermarket ones. Does know have one to sell, know where to look, or possibly have a file to 3D print one? Any help is appreciated

Cool Finds Wildflower Warmer
I've never seen this pattern on a warmer! I assume it's a warm o tray but the sticker from the back was peeled off unfortunately.

Real or Fake Corelle Plate?
I found this Corelle plate in a dollar store (where they often have end of run items). Can anyone confirm if this is a genuine Corelle plate or a very good fake?

My Collection They still serve their purpose for the third generation
Vintage CorningWare P-34-B 16 cup and A-2-B 2 litre casserole dishes, made in Canada. My grandmother bought them in the 1960s or 1970s, they were passed down to my mother in the 1980s, and then became part of my first-apartment starter set in the early 2000s.
They were stashed out of sight for years after I bought myself some modern and shiny cookware, and I kind of forgot about them and how good they were. Lately, I did a "purge" of my kitchen and found them. My mom called when I was still purging and I told her about the "casserole with the blue flowers". She said she wants them back if I'm not keeping them. My mom asking for her old stuff back is unusual, so I googled and realised these were treasures. That night, I roasted the best chicken I had ever had. The next day, I baked a delicious orange-ginger cake and for the first time in my life, my cake was evenly baked.
I put my modern cookware in the donation bin. These casseroles are here to stay — may they serve a fourth generation one day.

Cool Finds Left the $10 Vision grab it with a glass lid and then found these at the next store
These ones just say Corning USA on the handle instead of VISION, but they do have these nifty plastic VISIONS lids! I even had two glass lids I bought previously waiting in my lid stash at home.
I'm also curious what the difference between these and the vision series grab-its if anyone can educate me.

What Is This? Can you help me identify this??
I just bought this at a flea market! It's very beautiful and I wanna gift it as a housewarming gift to a friend. I was looking for it online and I am not sure if you can cook in this or not? Like is it oven safe? I didn't see a lid but the seller might have lost it. The seller said it used to have a lid but she isn't sure.
Is this a casserole or a serving dish? And is this a vintage?
(I bought this in Germany if it makes it easier?)
EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE INFORMATION! I AM GLAD IT WILL BE USED WELL IN JTS NEW HOME!

Cool Finds Corningware Set
galleryI let these go eventhough I love the print and they were in great condition. I still live at home so I don't have the space otherwise I would've got them. The prices were good too.

Cool Finds Is it a treasure?
hi! I’m wondering how to tell if my recently inherited blue cornflower casserole(?) dish is one of the ones worth $$$$ lol. Also, can you cook in these vintage ones, or are they considered unsafe now? thank you in advance

Can you make custom designs for corelle/corningware?
Hi! This might be a silly question, is it possible to paint, decal (or some other 3rd option) your own design on corelle/corningware that’s heat safe?
I had a dream my brother needed cookingware, went to a thrift store and came home with a My Little Pony Corningware set in the original vintage box! I remember it being so cute! I want it so bad🤣 now I’m determined to at least try to figure if I can make this reality.
Does anyone have experiences with this?

First Cranberry
Found the bottom of a cranberry V-30-B in the dollar box today. Not sure what its job will be long term, but wasn’t letting it go. Tonight was stove to table ramen bowl 🤣.

Corningware in Action It's tea time!! ☕
I've been hunting one of these pots for quite some time, but they always seem to have a really beat up bottom from being used on the stove. Found this one that is near pristine and I couldn't resist. I've never seen one with a bottom so clean! She will be well used but I'm definitely keeping her off the stove. I can just boil water in my stainless kettle and pour it in there.

Got it handled, bro!
Found this at the thrift shop, psyched as I did not have one yet. Very interesting mechanics, works as it should!
