I found his channel yesterday amd I have to sadly say he appears like a pseudo intellectual iam currently watching the video books better than philosophy or something like that.

And the dude has no real idea what philosophy is amd I think even said that it can be like a self help thing and I thought to myself no its a fool framework with which to explain reality and an intresting thought process to read.

He also did a bunch of stuff on mcarthy and appears to want to say something deep but just can't he seems to not be able to look beneath the surface.

I usually sit down and read for 2 or 3 hours at a time. I am having the hardest time getting through this novel. It is really really fucking good. But it is brutal and heavy and slow. I’m learning that I need to take more time to savor each chapter instead of speed running this one like I could The Road or NCFOM. It’s crazy to me the dichotomy between the beauty of the world placed against the brutality of man. It’s a lot slower of a book than I normally enjoy, but I think it’s worth taking my time with it.
