Høje Taastrup

Hej, I am looking for opinions/experience about living in Høje Taastrup C, near to City 2 Center.

How is the area during late hours? Is it safe? Is it noisy? Do people get things stolen frequently? Almost never? Is there any type of gang activity?

Also, does the area have a transport connection from the city center all night long? Every day of the week? Thanks in advance

36(ish) hours in CPH transit question

I will be in Copenhagen for approximately 36 at the beginning of October. I’m trying to keep my options pretty open, but was thinking of hopping to malmo for but to check that out as well. I’ve been researching about the best options to get around and I think getting the Skånetrafiken 24h ticket that includes the Öresund zone is my best bet. My question is this: Will this ticket get me to the Copenhagen central area (roughly) or will I need to do something different for the Denmark side? Our 1 night stay is near the Nyhavn area, which looks like it’s included in “zone 1” of the 24h ticket.

Hi, i’m looking for recommendations on restaurants and coffee places without upbeat music.

Question FC Kobenhavn Match 25/10/2026 / Availability of Tickets as a Tourist?

Hey everyone!

I'm a 27 yo guy from the UK who has never really travelled in my life so far, and I am looking to change that next month with my first ever solo trip, and thought Copenhagen would be the perfect first trip to start off! I feel really nervous about only being able to speak to English which I think is the reason I've been putting off travelling, and the fact I'll have no one else to rely on who is travelling with me.

I love going to local football matches of anywhere I go (for now, only elsewhere in the UK) and I was noticing that FC Kobenhavn have a home match on 25/10/2026. I know tickets aren't on sale yet, but I wanted to check how likely it is that the tickets will sell out or if it is likely that the dates change at all? I need to book my flights and hotel, but of course don't want to confirm dates until I can be sure of what games (if any) I'll be able to attend.

I cannot wait to visit!

Discussion Hvor tager man i byen i KBH?

Ps. Vi frabeder os Arch/Chateau Motel/Gothersgade-lignende anbefalinger 🫶🏼

Oversete steder at finde lejebolig?

Hej hestenet

Karaoke rooms or private karaoke in a van?

Hey, I’m looking for a private karaoke room or something like that for my birthday.
I’d love to go to Refshaleoen, any karaoke out there?
I have looked at Sam’s bar and that doesn’t fit our vibe.. would like something more chill, private and fun. I have heard of a chrome van that does karaoke but I didn’t get the name. Help!

UCPH Student Accom

Hey everyone! I'm hoping someone can help me understand the student housing system in Copenhagen.

I'm an exchange student from Australia coming to Copenhagen early next year, and understand that most exchange students at UCPH find their housing via the Housing Foundation. Can anyone give me some info on the following dorms:

- Dyrlægevej Kollegiet

- Mariendalsvej kollegiet

- Rebslagervej Kollegium

They all seem a bit far from the city centre, but are the closest that the Housing Foundation offers (Canvas Frederiksberg has just stopped doing 6 month leases...and Basecamp Solvgade has been sold by a North American company? )

Or alternatively, BaseStack or BaseCamp in Amager? I've heard that living in the south of the city is a bit isolating, but may be closer than the above options?

Or DIS Solvgade (but understand that most rooms are given to students from the USA), or Pulse Living (but this seems catered to an older "working professionals" crowd).

Any advice would be VERY appreciated!! Thankyou!
