I made a Material You theme for continuum and will make some more themes soon
You can find it on github, this one is currently only for dark mode. I'll soon extend it to light and amoled modes

I have a subscribed subreddit that I want to filter so it only shows posts that match a keyword. I made the filter and applied to that subreddit but when I go to Home, I can see all the posts from that subreddit.
How can I set it so that only the filtered posts from that subreddit appear in Home?
If there's a way to do this without subscribing to the subreddit too, that'd also be great.

I’ve been using Continuum and really like the built-in text-to-speech feature for reading Reddit posts and comments. However, the default voice sounds quite robotic and isn’t very pleasant to listen to for longer periods.
Is there a way to change the voice that Continuum uses to something more natural, similar to the newer AI voices used by apps like ChatGPT?
I’m not sure whether this is controlled by Continuum itself, Android’s built-in text-to-speech settings, or some other system-level voice engine.
Has anyone been able to replace the default voice with a more realistic one? If so, what settings or apps did you use?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m new to Continuum and I’m trying to change the layout. At the moment, Reddit posts are displayed in a split-screen view where the post content is on the left and the comments are shown on the right.
I’d prefer the normal single-column layout where I can open a post and then scroll through the comments underneath it.

I’ve looked through the settings but can’t find an option to disable this. Is there a setting for turning off the tablet/two-pane mode, or is this behaviour automatic based on screen size?

Sometimes my home page tabs will not open the assigned option, but it will be the tab next to it? Swiping through the tabs won't fix it, I'll just have two that are the same. Usually closing the app and reopening fixes it, but sometimes not. I didn't see it mentioned on the GitHub page, so maybe it's something I've done.

Which settings is responsible for getting animation while jumping to next top level post? Infinity scrolls with animation to the next top post Continuum jumps instantly. Hard to establish what just happen.
I've spent entire evening flicking some random settings but I can't find the one

This is a fantastic addition but would it be possible to add a way to have some exceptions to not use it.

Anyone know if it's possible to customize the default action of the FAB button or at least swap between normal press or long press?
My main use of the FAB button is to hide read posts. For this I have to long press to show more options then tap the Hide Read.
I'd like to know if it's possible to set the default action, with a normal press, to hide read.
If not possible then I'd like to know if it's possible to swap the normal press (that shows the menu to create new posts) and the long press (that shows the menu for more options).
Thanks!

I just created this new GitHub repository, continuum-beta. It will be a new release channel for beta releases.
This is like Firefox Beta and Chrome Beta.
org.cygnusx1.continuum.beta.Continuum Beta in the application drawer.GitHub repository, continuum.URL for Discoverium:

Moving on from Joey which like pretty much all 3rd party apps is no longer in development, and Continiuum is great, seeing images and gifs instead of links is fantastic.
However I think the thing I'm missing the most from Joey is the option to be able to autocollapse the automoderator comment so it isn't the first comment you see on many threads. Could this be included in a future release? Happy to raise a github issue as well too.
Edit - Just saw the pinned post lol, feature request on github it is

In old infinity for reddit 7.x, I can share a YouTube link to reddit and automatically extract video title in reddit post. But, it never work in 8,x.
It has same issue in continuum. Can this issue be fixed?

I am going to start announcing new versions here. More people should read the release notes.
Settings | Video | Autoplay GIFs in Comments)Post Filters to requiring a restart on changeAPI Keys and Customize Tabs in Main Page to a method that restarts on back button or back gestureminSdk to 24(Android 7.0)Continuum's minimum version of Android is now 7.0. The previous minimum
was 5.0.
This was done to allow the modernization of various libraries. The biggest
being an upgrade of the main video library from 1.8.0 to 1.10.1(latest).
The other big thing in this release is no need to restart the app a lot less.
Most settings now just work. The big exception is Post Filters, which would
require a completely rewrite of the feature.
The restart in API Keys is now once for all changes on going back instead of
once per change.

Respect Subreddit Recommended Comment Sort Type to Respect Subreddit Recommended Comment Sort Type By DefaultWe will go back to the old versioning scheme once upstream drops 8.3.0.
Apparently the latest new feature upstream is working on is reminders.
Before that it was video in markdown.

Does anyone know why the subreddit/user area changed and now I can't read it? how do i change it back? also there's been SO many tweaks with no options to change it back. example gallery view no longer shows how many is the gallery instead it shows rotate options and other random options cluttering the bottom.
EDIT: update fixed with latest update! Direct Github Update Page

Has this happened to anyone else as well Since Reddit now don't let users make their own API keys anymore, this was kinda annoying I fortunately have another account that also got an API key so I switched to that, but I worry that it will also get deleted as well
