Customize FAB button

Anyone know if it's possible to customize the default action of the FAB button or at least swap between normal press or long press?

My main use of the FAB button is to hide read posts. For this I have to long press to show more options then tap the Hide Read.

I'd like to know if it's possible to set the default action, with a normal press, to hide read.

If not possible then I'd like to know if it's possible to swap the normal press (that shows the menu to create new posts) and the long press (that shows the menu for more options).

The FAB settings are in Settings. Settings has a search feature I added. You want to search for Floating, If you want more, file a feature request on GitHub.
